It was never old. It was an experimental item on PBE last year.

Would probably be too OP on onhit champs like kog/kayle or kai sa.

Dorans Blade used to be on hit healing, and even right now we have Cull with that same mechanic.

It's not exactly a gamechanger.

The healing is not the OP part :P

Its the attackspeed.

Champs with built in onhit effects scale exceptionally well with it.

12% attack speed is certainly good, but remember that this is on a starting item.

Kog, Kayle, and Kai'sa are all fairly weak in the early game and this won't change that.

...not with one of them, anyway.

Because none of the effects are unique, I could definitely see it being a strong strategy to rush four of these and Greaves (Ryan Choi 2.0) to snowball like a madman.

This would get patched out immediately.

maybe because it would make item 1055 obsolete. It's just better on AA focused champs, and the rest pref flask or longsword for their start anyway.
