support's have started to stop taking support item all together and just grab
because they have better gold gain then the support items.

No, salty people who don't care about their ADC and are using the changes as an excuse to take farm build those.
Between the free gold and free upgrades, you can walk into the mid-game with nearly two complete items without needing to get a single minion, kill, or assist.
sorry but what? how are supports having better gold gain from items that have ZERO gold income vs the items that have actual gold income? if you are a support CSing isn't and shouldn't be the way you get your gold.
You can say that the CSing penalty shouldn't be there on the completed items. You can say that the stats the items provide are insufficient or that some of them give random stats that some of the support classes don't care for (AD/AP on the TANK support items, no regen of any sort nor CDR of any kind). You CANNOT say that they give less gold than any other item.

I don't see how that's Logical, with the new support Items you actually get over 3k more gold over all on the new support items, but yes the reason why they do that is because they don't like there adc which propaply you being toxic towards them or they simply don't care
