ARAM lineups seem almost fixed?

I dunno, could just be me and my extremely terrible luck/rng, every single match seems like the other team has a perfect comp, all range and CC etc, then my team even with double rerolls can't even procure a decent cc or ranged champ, ends up all melee.... maybe i'm just bad. Anybody else experience this every single aram they play?

Back when I first tried ARAM, Rito was truly outrageous. They were truly, truly outrageous.

Old Taric every other matches.

Yeah I agree, its really frustrating the last 4-5 games i played against dream teams, had 1 OKAY match, then another 4 games prior to that it was against dream teams... It's even worse with the reduction to summoner cds and cooldown being streamlined... You used to have to make sacrifices to get those things and now both are practically handed to you. Take flash for example, 3 min flash garen can just flash willy nilly to ult every fight, get kills and have zero offensive items...

This is the perpetual problem with the ARAM Bronze League™: they don't know how to win as melee against poke.

It all starts with buying a Relic Shield/Targon's Brace and focusing on itemizing for defense first, and playing conservatively until Level 6.

If you're melee -- whether you're a tank or a bruiser -- and your first purchase is item 3133 item 3134 item 1038 item 3184, you're (usually) doing it wrong, and you deserve to lose to an all-poke team before the 15-minute mark.

And no -- ARAM is not "fixed". That's just another common ARAM Bronze League™ excuse for playing like trash (and losing accordingly).

If you (genuinely) want to improve in ARAM, there's a great thread (that most players will never seen) written by some ARAM Diamond League™ players (back on Ye Olde ARAM Forum): http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4414608

Particularly Point 8 and Point 9:

8- If the other team has better range, try to stall early game by waveclearing. It's normal to take dmg from poke, however it doesn’t mean you should run in and try to fight immediately. If you run in before level 6, you’ll only end up either dying or burning potions. Try to stall early game (pre-lvl 6) as much as possible by getting 5 pots and some sustain. Late game tanky champions are scarier than early game poke champions.

9- If they have sustain, try not to trade. Even if you trade evenly, the simple fact that their healer is pressing W will put you and your team behind. Instead of using your spells on enemy champions when they have a Sona and Alistar, use those spells on minions to push the wave. Stay in the back, waveclear when you get pushed and wait for fights to happen later on. Healers get very efficient when small fights happen but no one dies, so that’s exactly what you want to avoid.
