Why does Azir's W cost mana?
The closest thing to it, Zyra's W, doesn't cost any mana. It's frankly ridiculous that it costs mana, since using it drains his tiny mana base pretty effectively :/

Blackridah3 voteszyra's w doesn't do anything by itself (unless someone walks over it and then it gives vision). You can attack with the soldiers he summons.
Raja Chachki3 votesWhy does the Earth rotate? One can only guess. But seriously, can you imagine Azir being able to spawn soldiers without mana? He would be so OP. And Zyra's seeds do nothing without something else activating it, and Azir's soldiers can auto attack.
