But this new item looks like it fits them perfectly now since they can make use of every stat on it AND get that stupid 50% Attack speed and 20% CD off on every Auto whenever they ult.
do you realize its nerfed compared to live er? the 200 hp is valued a little bit less than the 15 ad and the item cost 400 more. so its useless hp (if you're going er you want damage and the passive not defense) no mana regen (neutral on champ like renekton/riven but big on fiora) and delayed the powerspike compared to live

Why are you complaining? It's the old essence reaver but less stats...
Current Essence Reaver is 3000 gold for 75 AD (2625 gold), 20% CdR (533 gold), 300 mana (420 gold) and the two passives. That means ER is gold-efficient between the AD and CdR alone, without looking at the mana component or the passives. PBE Spear of Shojin is 3400 gold for 60 AD (2100 gold), 20% CdR (533 gold), 250 HP (667 gold) and one passive. 3400 gold for 3300 gold worth of stats is NOT gold-efficient.
Is there anything wrong with an item fitting certain champions perfectly?
Stuff like jax and renekton were only op because the free urf mode they got. i think riot is using hte item as an excuse to nerf the champions who use it.
