@RiotRepertoir Stats update for Mordekaiser
Title of the post, now you may ask why Repertoir compared to Meddler? Well he has the guts to actually come out and talk to the gameplay boards about changes they are making. Putting that aside, I want to talk about Mordekaisers stats as a Juggernaut when compared to other Juggernauts.
Morde's stats at lvl 1 are as follows: 61 AD, 530 HP, 25 Armor, 32.1 MR, 325 movespeed, 4 Health Regen
now lets look at other Juggernauts, I'll take the 3 most common ones when they think about that class: Darius, Illaoi, Garen
Darius lvl 1: 64 AD, 582.2 HP, 39 Armor, 32.1 MR, 340 movespeed, 10 Health Regen
Garen lvl 1: 66 AD, 616.3 HP, 36 Armor, 32.1 MR, 340 movespeed, 8 Health Regen
Illaoi lvl 1: 68 AD, 585.6 HP, 35 Armor, 32.1 MR, 340 movespeed, 9.5 Health Regen
When you compare Mordekaiser to the 3 most common Juggernauts he falls short of expectations. Not only is he slower than his Melee counterparts but he also has no means of catching his opponents without buying into a form of slow like Rylai's or Gunblade leaving most of his targets either freely disengaging when they want to just outrunning him in general.
His base armor compared to almost every champion is quite ridiculous, for a hunk of metal to have such a low base armor value is quite the joke. It made sense when his old W gave him armor and MR but that's not the case anymore and his current passive shield doesn't even fully block damage he takes, I've noticed on more than one occasion where I have a full passive shield take one tower shot and still lose HP despite having a large enough shield to negate that one shot.
Mordekaiser base Health Regen also needs to be changed, he uses his own HP to damage the enemy and in cases where he has to seige towers he puts himself at risk of falling into other champion combo's to be 100-0'd almost instantly. His base HP Regen needs to be buffed so that he can fall in line with other Juggernauts.
I'd also like to ask you guys to look at Mordekaiser's damage, when compared to the other 3 he deals mostly what I refer to as "Chip and Burn" damage. His Q and E allow him to chip and opponents HP down, but he never really gets a chance to capitalize on that because he is slow and has no means to prevent the enemy from backing when the wave bounces off their tower and back to the middle of the lane. His Melee counterparts have their damage through burst or in Illaoi's case indirectly damaging them. Taking a look at their ults Garen/Darius/Illaoi essentially have nukes, whereas Morde's ult is a DoT burn that lasts for 10 seconds and the counter-play to it is using a 50g consumable. Two of those ults Darius/Garen (conditional) deal true damage and Illaoi's deal damage separate from what her kit damage is (tentacles treated as sort of pet so separate damage numbers), Mordekaiser puts a burn on a champion that ticks over 10 seconds and the majority of the power in that ability is placed on getting a ghost from the resulting kill. However if Morde fails to get a ghost with his ult, either dragon or champion, then he's out of an Ult and a means to turn around a bad fight.
TL;DR I want Mordekaiser to receive a modernization in terms of his stats and ways for him to output his damage.
