About Mastery 7 tokens..

Why aren't they rewarded for S's and S+'s? I've gotten those and I haven't received tokens, yet when I've scored S- with one of my level 7s (Sona) I got my 3rd mastery 7 token.

Why does RNG have to decide whether I get to Mastery 7 or not? Unless of course the system is buggy as fuck and no one is bothering with fixing it.

Edit: Clarification for the sheep that lack common sense and can't guess, I got the token while I had Sona at 6, not 7. I know there aren't higher levels.

Well you said you have lvl 7 on Sona, once a champion is lvl 7 there isnt anything higher.

When your champion is rank 5, S- or S gives you a rank 6 shard. (requires 2 tokens+500 essence/champ shard) When your champion is rank 6, S or S+ gives you a rank 7 shard. (requires 3 tokens+600 essence/champ shard)

Once your champion is rank 7, it can't get higher. Not sure if you are really confused or not. As you already have rank 7 on Sona, she can no longer acquire shards.

There is no RNG in gaining tokens, as they are straight forward on how to get one. The only "RNG" is if you did well enough to get an S-rating)
