Zed (for me as a support) is boring to play against.
Not antifun, not toxic, not anything. He's boring.
He has one trick, and unless I'm sitting in lane with my flash down and 10% HP, he will not kill me. My way of countering him is looking for the X when he ults, throwing a stun or an exhaust, and removing enough of his damage.
His wave clear/split pushing is what I have a problem with, and will argue day in and day out for his Q to do reduced damage to minions, even if it's just 75%. And this is because as an assassin, having the fall back as a good/great splitpusher does not scream high risk/high reward, it gives him a back up job, making him at worst, medium risk/high reward.
He is the example of a healthy assasin. Kappa
I really like how he can throw a shadow and run the other direction, being able to choose to keep running one way or teleporting back if you decide to chase him, invalidating any chase decision you make. So fun. So well designed. Such counterplay.
Things I like about Zed over other Assassins,
- Ultimate is single target
- Ultimate is delayed
- Requires Zed to commit in order to kill
- Fullfil the Ninja Assassin Fantasy
Things I do not like
- His Q passes through targets, giving him better waver clear, higher AoE damage and allows him to be too safe.
- His Energy cost/regeneration doesn't seem to be enough to make him vulnerable after he goes all in for a kill
- His Shadow duration seems a bit too long.
i dunno get good or something i just played with a tf that beat zed in lane

camp twitch tv streams to get a hots key no more zed life is peachy now just waiting for download to finish :D
I like playing against Zed, especially compared to things like Leblanc, Akali, and Lissandra.
I agree, downvoted anyway. At least make a brief point in addition to the salt.
