Matchmaking broken. GJ Riot

Sooo i just got into a flex game and the enemies had a diamond jungler plat v mid and a plat 3 adc. All we had was a former diamond and now plat v toplaner and a former plat supp. Meanwhile im gold 3. Does Riot actually care about the game balance itself or are they too focused on making money? The highest permitted elo difference should be 2 divisions.... [slayer-jinx-unamused]
