I will give 200 dollars to any Rioter who can give a good, logical reason
As to why this game should have even started in the first place. Our lucian never connected at the loading screen. He was AFK from minute zero. The game still starts, and we are still forced to play it. At least the enemy team was kind enough to push down mid when we asked them to. If they had decided to farm kills it could have gone on for 20 more minutes...
So like I said. Riot, here's your chance to defend your system. I swear to God, I will mail a check for 200 dollars to any Rioter who can give a single, logical, well thought out, convincing reason as to why this game was allowed to happen. Give one piece of evidence in favor of a system that starts a game knowing that one of the players isn't even there. Explain to me why the game can't simply be aborted once it realizes that a player is not connecting. Go on. Do it.
Oh wait, you can't. Because no good reason exists. It's laziness, plain and simple. A lack of effort to make a system that actually treats its players fairly. I didn't have time for much league today, and the one game I do play is spent sitting at the Nexus, waiting for the enemy team to take our base. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.
