He was OP before the patch. The only reason that it's on the front page now is that he is so ridiculously broken that Riot is forced to do something.

Eh at the beginning of season 5 he was weak cause it was the tank meta, he is strong now because of the mastery changes

I don't think he was weak at all during the tank meta. His ult gave him 50% armor pen, so he had little trouble killing tanks.

He was weak because all of the tanks could do damage with cinder hulk, before the nerfs, and all of the tanks had massive CC so if the didn't land a knock up on a carry he would just die after his ult without successfully getting a kill.

I won't say he was weak, Yas has never been weak. He just wasn't as strong as usual.

I play a hard counter to yasuo so this patch has been super fun to me too xD.

Uhh a bit of riven but I'm terrible. Little is it known that akali, kennen and talon can easily take on a yasuo and live to tell the tale.
