Off Meta Support Picks

I play your mom in rank, works very well.

Harder than ever because of Runes Reforged, but i'll give you some of the oldschool bullshit support picks that were pretty competitive.

Sickeningly good in the right hands. Her burst got lowered a bit, so not as hot as it used to be, still feasible, i'd wager.

Good ol' Ashe support is still respectable. with ADC's hitting spikes earlier than ever. could work.

Illy better than most people would expect.

Newer, but still respectable. Own those bushes.

Almost meta. Almost. Poor guy.

She's been changed so much that i don't think she's feasible in the support role anymore, but oooh boy, them spears used to hit like trucks, and they were much harder to dodge.

Surprisingly good sustain, though he doens't precisely do much and if they all in your ADC, you can just ... lose :(

I'd wager he's better than people think down there. Initiation is strong and his taunt can.... sorta keep your ADC safe.

Your ADC will bitch, but you can force it through.

I'll never understand why we don't see him bot support more. It's so busted right now.

Not feasible anymore, when Yorick got reworked, he lost that ability, but back in the day, you could max E and go full AP and just absolutely murder anyone who got close to you or your ADC. His sustain was respectable as well.

Eh... that's most of the underrated off-meta supports.

**And for the record, as a plat support main - none of these are really feasible once you hit that level of play - you must start playing to the meta, or you will slowly lose. **

For me: I do this stuff often, including Elise , Lissandra , Rek'sai , Kassadin (not the easiest due to melee but can work), Galio , Syndra , Camille , Cassiopeia , Fiddle , or even Viktor or Taliyah . Sion has also shown to be quite respectable. Yorick is so high on my "I've mastered this" due to his old stuff, as new Yorick, I agree it's been scrapped on the easy scale but can still work, just instead of a E-self-heal fun time with explosion minions, it's a "use Q for mini-minions (make sure you get the tank-support item) , then E for slow+minion charge"-W for filler (and is about just as much work as a Syndra Q/E combo or a Zyra W/Q. The one champ I want to be able to do well though is one of whom I'd say would be weakest as support...and that's Evelynn ...all she really needs is like a short slow/root to her powered up E and it could work. And don't forget the other 2 annoying Lux-types: Xerath and Vel'koz - those 2 are beasts. [zombie-nunu-hearts]

Oh man..I seemed to have forgotten out of all that...Shen (since he's primarily top)!

As a support main I am constantly looking for new champs I can play as support, but I find that zoe , gnar and ezreal work best for me

If I get something really stupid like Jhin or Kaisa or Garen or Yasuo support, I dodge the f outta there!
