Why does Cassiopeia get "automated" kiting on her E?

Hey,

So there's one thing I'm really curious about. Why was Cassiopeias E changed in a way that the player literally doesn't need any kiting skills to kite as if he did it for years? Any adc or just kite reliant champ has to kite manually and work for each step he takes, but Cass can just poison you, click somewhere behind her and kite perfectly with way too low effort. She's a really powerful champ with enormous burst and sustained damage, what is this free power and help for players good for?

It just doesn't feel right being kited super hard by an otherwise bad Cass player, if this player doesn't even play kite intensive champs at any time or has some other kind of training for the ability to kite.

Why does a Kog Maw have to kite and orbwalk with his machine gun and the "Kog Maw" of Mages just gets this ability for free?

How do you feel about this?

Edit: Just to clarify what this is about.

V6.2 Twin Fang No longer cancels movement and attack orders. It still interrupts them briefly when she casts but she should now resume what she was doing before.

OP getting downvoted even when Cass is clearly OP broken and needs to be nerfed.

it's to fuck over melee champions even more, being ranged with a stun and the grounded effect isn't enough.

True.Cassio is op right now.

So what is the argument against Cassiopiea being able to both kite without requiring any mechanical skill while also being allowed to apply fucking Rylai's with her E, making engaging on her almost impossible?

As someone whose played a lot of Cassi - I'm going to assume you mean the free kiting is from the speed boost you get from hitting your noxious blast (Q) and not twin fang (E) as her E provides absolutely no speed boost.

Now to explain why this is fair - she's reliant on hitting a skill shot to really be able to do any type of consistent damage and she's forced to use mana for each twin fang while you as the ADC are not required to land a skill or use mana on your auto attacks which are going to deal pretty much the same amount of damage. As an ADC, you also naturally get access to movement speed boosting items which Cassi does not have access to (all your crit, attack speed and MS items).

Are you really complaining about Cass having less mechanics than ADCs? Yeah she has an easier time kiting than ADCs. The trade-off is that ADCs don't need to land skillshots to be able to auto-attack. I'm pretty sure most ADC players would rather have to put in the effort to learn how to kite than have to hit skillshots in advance to ever auto-attack enemies.

This thread seems really stupid. Like, there's a lot more different between Twin Fang and auto-attacks aside from one of them doing the kiting for you. Why is that the only difference that's a problem? Do you think Cass requires the additional skill check of being able to use kiting mechanics perfectly with E? Is she not more difficult than the majority of ADCs already?

It's stupid to randomly decide "Hey, this needs to be the same on everyone!". Outside of "consistency!", what's the advantage? Is Cass raelly inappropriately easy to use?
