What is crates available?
**Guys as I view my profile in the LoLclient, I can see crates available. What does that mean? I know its for the Hextech crafting but what does the crates available mean?

If you get a high mastery grade after playing a match of LoL, you are eligible to get on of the many available crates. You need a key though (3 key fragments or a purchase in the shop.)
The crates available means how many crates you can open, you can only open 4 per month, so 1 per week. It's telling you how many crates you have left that you can open/use
It's a monthly count. You can earn up to 4 chests each month, so the little graphic in your profile is there so you can track how many chests you've earned in that month.
It's a knock out drag out system. What you do get you don't keep. Its a loan for a week. Unless you throw it into the cycle to get a permanent version. Plus getting one after game is almost impossible. I played 12 hours yesterday and not one drop. Went 6-1 with J4 and nothing. I can go 5-5-5 and nothing. It's a buy to win. And at the cost I be better buying it out right. I was excited for this sense the game had a boring nature to it besides playing same maps and boring store.
