Game Clarity - Yasuo Windwall

Unpopular opinion, I actually like Yasuo, and no, I don't play him at all. However, I think everyone would like it if Yasuo's windwall has a clearer indication of its range, like what you guys did with Anivia's Flash Frost. The Yasuo player, his teammates, and his opponents would all like to know if they are safe and if projectile will actually hit.

Just some clean up of the ability in general would go a long way to making it less frustrating. :/ The hit box is very unclear. Like, the thickness of it is very misleading and the fact that its thick enough that Yasuo can stand in it and be immune to all projectiles is ridiculous thematically and awful for gameplay.

Better watch you they are deleting "nerf yas" posts left and right.

Must have a new skin coming out.

My problem with him is that there are very few melees with a proyectile in their kits, and Yas happens to have a one with a knock up that it doesnt lose damage after hitting several units. That's his most powerful spell if you ask me. So much things he can do with it. Windwall has a weird hit box and is capable of denying Ults, but he needs to actually save it or react to use it, so its even. He cant windwall while being cc'd.

Overall, he is loaded. Everything started after he was released. Sort of.

It shouldn't be able to block attacks that come from behind him on it's spawn. It's fucking amazing that these people still have jobs.

It also shouldnt be blocking attacks that go over and under it but here we are.

There is no "over" or "under" in League. Everything works from a flat plane on the ground, it's essentially a 2D top-down game but with an isometric camera to make it appear 3D. Riot would have to hard-code exceptions for specific abilities, and that's rarely a good thing to do cause that's what causes spaghetti.

Riots fault for not fixing the spaghetti code 6 seasons ago when we told then to.

The visuals need to fade later too. I posted a while back about a skillshot that hit a windwall that was literally entirely invisible when it hit, having just faded.

I wish they made it so you can’t juggle inside of it and be immune to ranged champions entirely. -.-

A lot of the issues people have with windwall can be tied to this. It’s just a very unclear hitbox

yasuo can't 1 vs 1 leona. Need some buff

I'd like him a bunch more if they just sorta reworked his W WindWall a tad and his shield. Personally I'd put his shield passive on his W, so that you can Increase the shield amount... or the recharge rate.

As for the windwall, Put it on a 15Sec CD from a 24Sec CD. So he has up more in late so that hes a bit safer. However.

Make the Wall Break after 3 projectiles OR cannot Block NON Ult Projectiles.

It works from all directions and instantly... What more indicator do you want?

Asifion1 votes

How far it actually extends or how short it really is, how thick it is or how thin it is, and etc. Have you seen Anivia's Q animation? That's the kinda of indicator that I want.
