League Auto-pathing [Any Rioter Game Devs Here?]

Was wondering if the game auto-pathing from right clicks on the map is set to the shortest path possible. To explain, does the game direct your champion to the shortest path by distance or by time? These two are may not always be dependent, as a longer path by distance can be shorter by time with special factors as waterwalking, Janna's passive, knight's vow, or etc.

It's a distance calculation. If there are other effects that would make another route quicker you'll need to optimize those yourself.

Any reason why this happened? I teleported to top turret and tried to walk further into lane and pathing routed me to tier 2 turret then back to the middle of the lane instead of just the middle of the lane.

Whenever I play syndra I notice that she sometimes like "Shakes" or walks very weirdly. It is like she is trying to path around invisible objects. Do you know of this bug and if there will be a fix if so?

They are Dead Minions that you cant see but are under the map and Pathing still "sees" them. This is why you can get really bad minion block even tho there are few minions.

Riot coding is shit.

Its definitely by shortest path. You can see that by playing Taliyah and walking to midlane, the game will automatically send you in the middle of the lane instead of hugging the walls along to abuse the passive.

It's based on total amount of units traveled. The system recognizes terrain, but that's it.
