I was just playing a game of Ranked Flex, I op.gg'd the game beforehand, and on my team I had someone who was silver, and was against someone who was platinum, and Diamond last year. That seems a little unfair.

Just a note that Flex isn't exactly a great indicator of a player's personal skill. There were people last season that hit Diamond+ that had never gotten above Gold before. A lot of it depended on who you grouped with and how many of you there were.
