Mages vs Tanks

Can we please get some mage items that are effective specifically against tanks? I am tired of dealing laughable damage to tanks when I play a mage, when they've only built Armor, HP and not a single MR item. I am also tired of not dealing enough physical damage to a tank when I play an AD champion, because the tank itemizes against me, but the mage on my team doesn't deal any significant damage to the tank.

Answers to some potential arguments:

You cannot ignore tanks, a lot of them deal very significant damage.

It might be the ADC's job to kill tanks and not mages, but it is hard even for ADC's to kill tanks when all they build is armor and HP, the only exceptions are things like Vayne and Corki. Mages should atleast be able to keep tanks on their toes if they don't build any MR what so ever.

Liandris is not helping much.

A few examples of tanks I am talking about - Malphite, Mundo, Tahm, Poppy. They build things like Dead man's, Sunfire, Randuin's and the HP from these items is enough to mitigate most magic damage coming their way. MAYBE they will build one MR item, but then that becomes overkill, and a mage with Raba, Void, Liandris etc. won't deal any significant damage to them.

Once again I wish there were AP items available that would be effective against tanks specifically.

Making mages an actual thing? Wrong game, here it's only nerfs ;)

if everything can blow up tanks, then there are no tanks.

if mages cant kill their opponents, theyre still effective due to acting as second supports. they have enough utility to stay relevant without being able to kill someone themselves.

you blow up squishies with burst, and you support and help kiting against tanky targets. thats what mages do.

and if the adc cant kill a tank right now with their overtuned items, then your adc sucks. adc are completely broken. i dont know if you noticed, but there are almost 2 on every team right now. one in the jungle/mid or toplane, and one on bot.
