As an Akali main ... regarding the upcoming Akali nerfs.

Hello once again to the boards. I´ve made a post before regarding akali so I don´t feel like repeating myself on who I am and whatnot.

So regarding these upcoming nerfs... I can understand the W nerfs and especially the removal of obscured since as I´ve been saying since the reveal of her rework and certainlyT ´s " FLAWLESS " champion design that it´s going to be 2 much. Not to mention it˙s one of the things I initally suggested on nerfing in my previous post here.

BUT...

... the Q nerfs are going way 2 overboard killing the only survival tool she has vs poke lanes ( e.g. Orianna Cassiopeia Karthus Kassadin Lux ) or lanes with very hefty trading (e.g. Aatrox Galio Diana Renekton Yasuo ) making it very unlikely that ull bounce back. Let´s say for example ure laning against an Orianna , she ( unless the player is showing an obvious lack of skill and knowledge ) easily and most cetrainly wins every early trade vs u since she can slow u down while dealing a lot of dmg and then AAing u for more dmg , leaving u with -30%ish hp. Most ppl run dorans shield into this matchup and so do i since it helps mitigate some dmg but its nowhere near enough to recover from the poke leaving u to rely on ur Q heal. Without ur Q heal ud be forced to go back after 2-3 trades or submit all ur cs gold , leaving u behind AND , if going back , even further behind since u lost gold AND xp. Not to mention ud be open to her killing u even if u were to go to grab some cs under UR tower.

Thats why the Q heal is so important in a lot of matchups to prevent u getting bullied the f*ck out of ur lane all the time.

Unless people have forgotten already, old akali also had a heal , except it was built in her passive , and it proced off of her AAing. This obviously helped her survive lane

~Akali MY SUGGESTIONSAkali ~

I have only 1 suggestion basically ...

Either nerf the Q heal by a fourth ( 25% ) overall OR reduce the healing on minions by , lets say , 35% OR remove the ability to heal by hitting minions BUT buff the heal if u hit a champion then making it heal for 50% more ( so thats 150% of the current heal if u hit a champion but no healing if u hit only minions ) in such a case.

Thank u for reading.

They said she was supposed to lose to poke matchups. Same with Aatrox. They are probably going to buff her kill potential.

Lmao she'll get shitty placebo buffs probably.

At least you will finally play her, right?

I don't want to play a trash champion. All iterations of old Akali are better than this abomination.

If they don't play on buffing her, and she isn't viable, then no use to playing this game. Probably will play more Destiny 2 and Anthem if it's good.

can relate , old > new

akali is the only reason i play this game anyway

No no and finally NO!

It sucks to fight akali, only to press w and q (not even procing her passive) and gain 200+ hp. And before you say she needs almost full energy, energy regens fast. By the time you are out of the shroud (provided you lack dash) she will be able to cast one more q to heal an additional 200+ hp. And that wouldnt be a problem if gunblade didnt exist.

" It sucks to fight akali " i dont have issues fighting her lol " only to press w and q (not even procing her passive) and gain 200+ hp " uhm , okay ? " energy regens fast. " , have u ever played an energy based champ dear ? " By the time you are out of the shroud (provided you lack dash) she will be able to cast one more q to heal an additional 200+ hp. " assuming she didnt cast anything else but ult then since it would decrease energy

You are in the crazy minority. Im always taking into account what the majority of the playerbase believes. And until the last changes to her shroud, we all know fully well how awesome was fighting akali.

" only to press w and q (not even procing her passive) and gain 200+ hp " uhm , okay ?

OH so an assassin whose weakness is to be squishy has the capacity to stall for several seconds, gain movement speed and be invisible. ON TOP of that she can regain 200+ hp just by landing her q.

So your reaction to that is a mere okay. I swear people have no common sense. How the fk can you punish her, when she can undo so damn easily damage?

energy regens fast. " , have u ever played an energy based champ dear ?

Please spare this attitude. Of course i have. Every energy based champ have a in-built way to regain a small amount. However akali is "special" and has two ways. one of which she doesnt even need to interact with anyone. She can engage with her e (assuming it connects) - 30 energy. Reactivating will send her to the target. In the process she might get damaged (or already be) however she presses q (-80 energy) and gains back the hp she lost. And you throw the rest of your spells. They land and deal dmg however she presses w and regains 80 energy more than enough to cast q and regain yet again all of the hp she lost (with the help of gunblade). Now, assuming her target was a mage, the mage is severely screwed. His spells are on cd and he cant really outrun an akali. An adc might have the capacity to damage her but considering her shroud might still be around, i doubt the adc can kill her before she kills him.

By the time you are out of the shroud (provided you lack dash) she will be able to cast one more q to heal an additional 200+ hp. " assuming she didnt cast anything else but ult then since it would decrease energy

In the scenario i mentioned, akali was only using q (and e to engage however this doesnt really affect anything).

Assassins simply shouldn't have sustain and that's it.

No the q nerfs are what should have happend a day a after her release. She was ridiculously overpowered, she still can get untargetable what still is a gamebreaking mechanic, she just is punished by towers, like every other champ is. The heal was way to overloaded aswell, especially if you take the frequenzy into calculation, thus it is just fair to nerf it. It maybe seems a bit harsh but compared to how ridiculously strong she was after her rework, its just fair to have her at a normal spot now, where she inst insanly overpowered, doesnt oneshot without providing counterplay, or heal herselfe 500 by one q. And now stop crying.

lmao

  1. work on ur eng
  2. ure like a broken record
  3. " The heal was way to overloaded aswell, especially if you take the frequenzy into calculation, thus it is just fair to nerf it. " , removing the Q heal does not equal a Q heal nerf but a Q heal REMOVAL
  4. " its just fair to have her at a normal spot now " the W changes lean towards a normal spot yes but gutting her only sustain and survivability option in tough poke and trade lanes is not the right lean
  5. " doesnt oneshot without providing counterplay " mobility is key to countering it , sounds like u play very immobile stuff , which is ur fault then
  6. " heal herselfe 500 by one q " the most out of 1 heal ive gotten was 435 i believe which was late game full build , max lvl + gunblade item 3146 item 3165 item 3157 item 3089 item 3135 item 3111 ,,, normally in early lane heals go from 35-110 ish depending on how ahead u are and it needs to be FULL ENERGY

1.not my native language, aswell as written on my mobile with no auto correct. See that you win land grammar nazi.

2.QQ

3.It wasnt necessary to give her a heal aka sustain at all. This is to much, thus it is nerfed. Deleted would be even more in my favor.

4.Gutting all metioned possibility is exactly the right thing to do? She has to much sustain for beeing untargetable for like 10 seconds. She deals much dmg and has high mobility thus she cant have much health/sustain. A champ canr have everything; cant be good in anything. There has to be counterplay, eventhough riot does tend to forget that, especially when they are reworking or introducing new champs.

5.Sorry but movespeed is a bit to less counterplay for a massively overloaded champ like she is one. Even mobile champs have trouble facing her due to her insane (not anymore) sustain and shroud. Not to mention her hillarious dmg.

6.as i said the frequency is doing it. There is a difference between beeing able to heal 200 ever 15 seconds and beeing able to heal 200 every 2. You get the problem?

To put it in a nutshell id say that this is the first good change riot made since season 7.2.
