How I Main Support Role (Think Before Verbally Assaulting Supports).

For those of you that question how I play, the champions I play as a support and think I'm griefing or trolling. You should know that I take my role very seriously. When you think I'm abandoning you, I'm just doing my job. When you think I'm just sitting there afk/lagging or waiting to watch you get rekt. No.. I'm waiting for an opportunity to strike with you. If you think I'm at base ready to quit the game just because I sold all of my items.. Bruh, I'm trying to re think my strategy and trying to take the initiative path of a late game to hopefully turn the tides. If I'm currently soloing lane while all of you are ready to team fight and you're up there pinging the hell out of me.. Dude, let me get some level ups and farm so that I can at least keep pace when we're in a bad position.

I do main support champions. Some of them aren't even considered support champs, though. I would like to go over one of my more favorite build/plays including a favorite choice of mine and not the usual support.

| | 00:00. We're locked in the gate. The first things I do is buy . This item allows me to lock on to and take out any that the enemy would use to spy or sneak up on us with during a leash. My other 2 items concern building up my gold income item. . I start off by buying and first.

01:30. I make sure to select E as my first skill so that I can swipe the the red/blue buff multiple times to do more than basic damage. (When leveling up I max out E and R first so I can get lots of healing off and let my R upgrade the CDR for my aniaml skills, then I work on Q then W). After the second swipe I switch to human form and I heal the jungler giving him more endurance and attack speed to take out the buff easily.

1:50. Me and my ADC are in lane and while enemy is busy still getting here I help take out the minnions as fast as possible with out hurting the ADCs income but also get those early level advantages. Now I don't have any so I rely on my ADC to make sure to place them in any lane brushes or river brushes when possible or necessary. Some of the ADCs I get will gracefully buy a and I really appreciate them for that. I'll keep rotating from brush to brush when my instincts tell me that there is a ward there and use my Lense to take it out so that I can secure any engagement to go down more securely. I also use klepto and make sure to get as many strikes as I can by using my E in animal form so I don't use mana and switch to human to get a ranged hit and pop some gold or some warding items for free.

06:00. We're at a level of engaging and its either going well and Nidalee's Q R W E Q furious attacks or pciking the enemy off well or they have some good defense and CC that I may need to go barrow some plant health from the river. Always remembering to make sure that there aren't any wards up on my way back. Around this time is a good time to go back to base and spend the gold I escalated from all the kelpto and minnion drops. Once I'm back at base I take my gold item to the next level and get a and then work on my evasion/chase/sustainability by buying and a which will be going into a warding item soon.

10:00. Later on in the fight it is getting intense, I'm level 9 and it is time for me to go back to base so I can prepare for my scouting. I buy for any wards around objectives, and and possibly another if I can afford it. I head out from base and I start from top lane, checking on my team mates and the Herald to make sure no fishy business is going on. I scout my way down to mid lane to check and see if they are clear and safe and go through the blue/red buff jungle. I start warding out the brushes on the enemies side of the river around the drake buff and take away any vision that may be up. If my jungler is ready we will proceed to take out the drake buff and claim the first buff as ours. If not, then I'll just head back quickly to my ADC. The drake buff processes every 0:30 the drake has left before respawning an I make sure to ping my team the drake buff timer at this time or a minute before at least 2 - 4 times to give them a heads up.

| | 15:00. Hopefully by now we are doing well and I start finnishing up my build by getting and . At this point one of the teams are getting backed up and need to start rotating soon so I make sure to keep my wards on both sides of the river's brushes and behind the tower just in case. If for any reason my ADC falls into trouble I won't run ahead of him, instead make a disttraction and possibly scare them off by laying into them with my Q throw then spike damage with W E Q and repeat the process if I am in good condition. Usually it is very terrifying to be near me because I have a very cooridinated reflex and timing and hardly any one can get away from me if I keep transofrming and repeating the attack process. If I need to get out of there I will jump out of the way with W and hopefully have enough time to use heal after helping my ADC recover to get out of danger.

20:00. Its time to get these towers down and starting heading out to other lanes and keep track of enemy wards, their positions and important objectives. I start building up my items necessary to help out my ADC and team mates in a team fight. 2 then and then as I go about making gold and progress. The game carrys on through out any one's game's usual progress and I continue to do what I can with my scouting, warding, egaging and healing/buffing.

| | My next item is to reach my 40 - 45% CDR so at this point I'm extremely doing much healing and sustaining my selected target. for the obvious purposes of not for the AP but for the stats and ability. If the game continues to become more extreme and we're nearly an hour in, I take further measures and replace my with and dumping my for . Now the objectives and builds will fall to the support as will the enemy.. Usually its rare for me to have to exchange my items for these 2 items because the game doesn't get too far that often.

I hope this helps any one out on how to take the role more seriously and teaches those people a lesson who are in need of one for attacking the supports before understanding their jobs.
