The Support-Carry meta

Honestly, I think this is getting ridiculous. The support role has been so over tuned that it is basically like having a second midlaner (who doesn't need farm) to carry an ADC. There is no more actual "support champions". They all do equivalent damage to most champions. Having brand, viegar, pyke, senna, or another high-damage support is allowing these support players to not even build to play support. Due to the crazy damage some support champions have, it makes botlane's win value so much more important. The game already revolves around Bot in the current meta, but now having not only a fed ADC, but now a fed support who does just as much as their ADC, is stupid. The gold income of support champions should be decreased so the role goes back to its traditional concept.

I mean the best winrate supports aren't mages

So I think "support" supports are doing good

You seem to have a stark misunderstanding of what a support is and what a duo lane is; a support empowers or protects an ally so they can get ahead and then helps them maintain that lead. A Duo lane - what Senna, Pyke, and every other damage 'support' is - endeavors to do as much damage as possible and force the enemy lane into a disadvantage.

Support =/= duo lane. The only reason senna and pyke are "supports" is because riot learned with the last iteration of morde that people simply cannot handle the concept of a duo lane and will default to "well its not an ADC so it must be support?" like a preschooler.

Supports definitely have a huge impact on not only their land but also every lane
