Please stop making URF all random

It really isn't fun. Just give us bans and let us pick freely. The way it is right now on PBE sucks, the winner is decided in champ select.

What's that? Your team has 3 ADCs and the enemy team consists of assassins and bruisers? Well, just bad luck The enemy team has a Zed onetrick on their team who managed to get Zed? Guess you lose again 4 people on your team got a support champ while the entire enemy team consists of tanks? Oh well

I get that it's a fun mode and winning isn't the thing you should go for, but for me, and I think most people will agree with me there, getting crushed by a full AP Jax because your entire team consists of squishies isn't fun. Neither is being forced to play a champ that you already decided isn't fun to you. All that just because you didn't pray to RNGesus enough.

I Also get that Rito is trying to make it fair for everyone and not lock certain champs behind a permaban wall, but honestly, is locking them behind RNG any better?

The reason ARURF was implemented was because the same group of champions got picked every game and it got really stale.

I got tired of seeing wukong vlad and hecarim in every game I played. It just got boring.

10 bans won't solve that, there were about 25 or so champs that would almost always get picked.

well then you're gonna have to deal with it, the old urf was way better so 10 bans would make it more balanced but nothing else you can do. the urf now sucks cuz it will now make it unbalanced again which is funny cuz they put all random to make it balance but it wont if your team gets unlucky and has all supps. Honestly best game mode and that would be fun AND balanced is one for all plus urf into one game mode. Now idk about the details, they can figure that out but that would be sick. Idk why riot doesnt listen. Also i forgot how one for all works if one team picks what champ they want and most votes wins idk but i hope this happens.

Only one that has to deal is you and the people that want URF. They aren't bringing back URF. Riot said so themselfes countless times. ARURF is here to stay the way it is.

ARURF made the gamemode less fun for some people but kept the fun in seeing new champs every game. Still, it's kind of sucks to get a really unfun champion that can't do much in URF (even though this is not nearly as big of a problem as the same picks every game).

I think they should just put both at once. A random one, and a draft one Then the players themselves can decide which one they prefer and play accordingly

How is that much different from the regular League lols. I can play right now and expect to see an Ezreal, Zed and Lee Sin almost every game.

Huh, you don't like going through 10 champ selects to finally play a match because someone got a champ they didn't want to play? URF needs to allow us to pick our champs. If each team needs 5 bans to make this happen, fine. Should lead to less dodges over all and more games played.

Problem is RNG is only fun for the guys that get lucky, the ones that didn't just cry in a corner. At least in old URF everyone played broken shit and fun champions. On ARURF you can just get stuck with the most useless and unfun champion and just get stomped 10 times harder than in old URF

Not surprised, just annoyed. ARAM is a mode I play when I don't feel like choosing a certain role. URF is a mode where I want to choose a certain champ. Not to mention, scaling in URF is way different, with certain champs being just OP and others being complete dogshit. You can lose a game in AR URF just by bad luck because the enemy got an OP champ, whereas in ARAM most champs are equally balanced.

Then regardless of your 400+ wins on ARAM, you definitely haven't looked through the champion compositions on ARAM. There are very unfair matchups on ARAM too, like getting Lux, Xerath, Velkoz vs Urgot, Zed, Vayne.

the worst ever time of URF i had was when you picked your champions, Ezreal vlad hecarim zed lux were literally in every game. it wasn't fun.

IF RITO would only do what has been suggested a billion times, this wouldn't be an issue.

  1. make it NOT random (we pick champs)
  2. 10 bans (yay)
  3. players have a 5-game cooldown on a champ. If you played SONA in game 1, you can't play SONA again until your 6th game.

They limited the pool you're allowed to have in this "New" version. Atleast Hecarim Garen aren't allowed to play.

then you're playing the wrong gamemode cos you cant get fuckin zed in this iteration of urf.... dont feel privileged enough to slap a lazy complaint onto the butt of everyone elses legitimate complaints on the boards just because you think since everyones doing it, it doesnt matter and maybe nobody will notice. not having zed and sona is a BIG difference. most of the tip top highest, and the.... bitty bottom lowest winrate champs are not in this version of urf, and riot have miraculously found a great "excuse" in the winter/snow theme skins to have found such a goldmine of a potentially great balance change for the urf gamemode. its also NOT all random, since you can only play like 40/50 champs that are middle of the pack in winrates
