Why would you even leave a game?

I remember having low-priority queue for a few games because one time on December 29th, 2015 at somewhere between 7:30 and 8PM, a car crashed into my house. Into. I said in-game over all-chat, it was only like 2 or 4 minutes into the game "I have to go, a car crashed into my house. Sorry, everybody." and then I promptly quit the game, put on my coat and went outside to call the police and ambulance and fire department for this 69-year old man whose car was crumpled up like an empty soda can. They had to cut the door off to get him out of the car, and then slice the hood open so they could manually shut off the engine by hand since the ignition popped out of the steering column. Fortunately all he had was a concussion, but still.
