well I don't think the nerf on storm razor was meant to hurt the champ with evolving abilities. that is WAY too big of a nerf on AD kai'sa. what the hell's goin on here.

Kai'Sa's expansive itemization is like a Hydra. You can cut one head off but two more will take its place.

okay, so I lose attack speed and crit. the attack speed loss affects the E evolution. manamune was meant to build AP kai'sa. AP kai'sa is fine. im worried about AD kai'sa.

Not really. You go Manamuna -> Rageblade -> Zerk Greaves -> Runaan's -> Infinity Edge. That was the AD Kai'Sa build before they buffed Stormrazor. It's still very effective. You don't get crit in the early game, but crit sucks in the early game, anyway.

Yes, that solves the problem with the "Q" which im aware of. BUT, now evolving the E (which it being evolved is essential for self--peel in the late game) takes longer because of another item purchase. I just think they should make kai'sa evolve with 5 less AD. keep the build relevant. its the build that felt smooth.

Are you sure?

The Stormrazor build was Stormrazor -> Rageblade -> Zeal upgrade. That's 15% attack speed from Stormrazor, 25% from Rageblade, and 30-40% from the Zeal upgrade, for a total of 70-80% bonus attack speed. Without the Zerk Greaves, you'll upgrade your E at level 14, at the soonest. With Runaan's (the default choice due to the synergy with her kit), getting the Zerk Greaves gets you 115% attack speed, so losing Stormrazor's attack speed still gets you to 100%.

Stormrazor + Rageblade + Zerk Greaves + Zeal upgrade = 4 items

Manamune + Rageblade + Zerk Greaves + Zeal upgrade = 4 items

In fact, the old build is probably getting to the E upgrade slightly faster, since Manamune is cheaper than Stormrazor, and the mana refund you get from it lets you stay in lane longer.

I never really like Stormrazor, I kept building Manamune anyway, it feels plenty smooth. You rush a Pickaxe, finish Manamune, grab another Pickaxe, build your Zerk Greaves, then finish Rageblade. From there, you can choose whether you want to be AD or AP, so there's added flexibility.

It does, as I mentioned, but not a relevant amount of attack speed. You get the E upgrade in 4 items with both builds. The vast majority of the attack speed comes from Rageblade, Runaan's, and Zerk Greaves. Those items alone evolve your E, with or without Stormrazor.
