Ranked placement factors questions!

I have played ranked since season 3, but I have never really thought about this topic until now. Getting ready to place for season 5, and from what I have gathered, ranked placement depends on only a few factors: Your KDA, your last seasons ending rank, and how many wins in your placement games you have.

But I was wondering if ALL of these factors are taken into account, as they are all extremely important in League of Legends:

  1. Your ASSISTS, as well as kills. Supports (my main) normally don't get kills, they assist their team in getting kills. Higher assists as a support champ means you are doing your part to help your team.
  2. The number of WARDS and PINKS you place during a match; the total timed duration of vision that you helped give to your team. Anyone who argues that vision isn't important in winning a game has lost one too many objectives.
  3. The number of OBJECTIVES your team secures during a match. More dragon stacks, baron buffs, blue/red buffs, towers, inhibs, etc. adds to this score; obviously if you were helping your team securing these objectives, you are being a better player.
  4. The number of enemy wards you CLEAR. This relates to number 2, as reducing the amount of visibility the enemy team has is just as crucial as placing the ward.
  5. Match duration: If your team struggled to win against a plat 3 team, and the match was about 50 mins and you won, you are probably in the plat range. If you stomped 50-2 and it was a 20 minute game you should be higher.
  6. Your MMR/ELO.
  7. Actives on your items. How many times, if at all, did you use your active item abilities?

I do hope these are all considered, as they are all differentiating factors between players in different ranks, but I wanted to know for sure what measurements are used to place you in ranked.

TL;DR: There is hopefully 10 aspects used to measure your ranked placement:

  1. Kill count, death count.
  2. Assist count.
  3. of wards placed.

  4. of enemy wards cleared.

  5. objectives of all types you HELPED secure.
  6. Match duration.
  7. MMR/ELO.
  8. Use of items active abilities.
  9. How many matches you win/lose in placements.
  10. Last seasons ending ranked score.

Thanks for your time!

I was able to skip through most of your post, because you have been misled on a great deal of things on this;

How well you do in your match will never affect your Placements, Ranking, MMR or LP gain/loss.

It is entirely based on the average MMR of your group vs. that of the opponent. Beating someone of higher MMR will net you more LP, and losing against those of lower MMR will make you lose more. The thought behind this is that if you lose against less skilled people, you might not be as skilled as you are Ranked.

Your MMR vs. the opponent's is everything.

Also, I have heard (but not really verified) that in your Placement matches, you are matched against the highest MMR opponents first, decreasing each match so your last opponents are the easiest/lowest MMR. That means that your first matches are most important in deciding your placement.

In addition to that, this season everyone had their MMR lowered some, so on average most people got demotions; the exceptions are those who had higher MMR's than their rank and did well in placements.
