That poor guy has worked his ass off to get all the way to the finals TWICE. This time with a language barrier which is incredible in its own right. He hasn't gotten to touch that cup even once. I hope he gets to hold it once behind the scenes, because my god, that guy has EARNED it.
One thing I want to say is that coming into world's many analysts were saying that group B was the weaker of all the groups. but the 2 Teams to come out of group B were the only 2 teams to take a game off white which says something.
I was really voting for Star Horn Royal, because I really wanted to see Uzi hold that cup up. Don't get me wrong I think Samsung White has defentely deserved their win, but to be so close and still fall short has got to be devastating.
Honestly I feel bad more for TSM. They've been to every world's and weren't able to win a single one.
InSec's panth ults ruined game 4. Dandy just read him like a book and Uzi had to pay for it.

I really do feel bad for Uzi, and it was more than acknowledged that he carries his team. He is often the only reason they win. They have to build their entire comp around him. It's more of a game of hey let's not lose our lanes too badly and hope Uzi can pick up our slack. I feel bad for Uzi because he is on a completely higher level than the team he played with.
The 2 best people on Royal Club were "Uzi & Insec"
Every ban phase Insec and Uzi were shutdown from getting their usual champions. Mostly Insec was shut down which led to him being forced to play on champions he isn't as strong on- Ex mediocre Rammus/ Panth performance.
I think if there is anything to take away from this is:
Insec needs to expand his champion pool. Without his lee sin/ or rengar he is an easy jungler to deal with. Samsung White just shut Insec down before they started each game with banning his comfortable champions. He needs to find more champions he can bring that legendary level of play on. If he does that his opponents can't bank of bans to keep him down. And I am sure he will bring some real threats to the competition
And honestly I wish Uzi all the best and luck in the world but really hope he finds a team that is more on his level of play.
This may be a dramatic example but when I watch Uzi's games they strike me as a challenger ranked ADC being put on a mid gold level team, and thrown up against all diamonds. You may be individually amazing and better skilled than both teams, however you can only do so much to carry your team when they are so obviously mismatched. This wasn't a case of Uzi not performing well, it was a case of every member of his team lost, and there isn't a way to easily rise above that and carry against that type of situation.

250k prize for his team 2 years in a row is more than any other team can say for themselves. Even though they lost I would still be feeling pretty good about 2nd place on the entire earth 2 years in a row.
SHR isn't the team for Uzi... I'm sorry but I believe it's true. I love inSec andd Cola does a good job in the toplane, but Uzi needs to be with another team... YET AGAIN... Maybe next year Uzi... maybe next year.
It's a bad sign that they built two separate teams around Uzi; I wonder why none of the other SHRC players were considered good enough to play on the team during this season. Perhaps, Uzi is not a nice player to have on your team and no one gets along with him?
Honestly, with the entire team being focused around one tubby guy, I'm not surprised they lost. It was selfish of him to try to think he could pull an entire team and carry them all the way to winning. He wasn't an amazing ADC, by any standards. I mean, many of the announcers and guests at the world tournament final pretty much counted them off from the beginning.

Well as long as Korea plays in the finals i doubt they will ever win Worlds. Korea just outclasses all other regions so badly. The first 2 games SSW just completely slaps them around and makes them look like a bronze V team, and the only reason SHC won game 3 was because SSW was messing around and then when SSW played serious again they got wrecked.
the thing is though is that as hard as hes tried and worked to come the fact of the matter is hes been completely stomped twice in a row now; but, at least they actually took a game this time
Without Dandy coming down, Uzi and Zero actually outperformed Imp and Mata in lane. But every other lane (and the jungle) was dominantly in White's favor.
I agree, I feel so bad for Uzi, he is so good and carried his team to the finals. I don't think he had any help really, personally I don't see why it is said InSec is really good and I do see why he was released by his last team...they were kinda polar opposites where Uzi had to carry his entire team and the Samsung White guys just had to carry Imp. Dandy's performance in that series was amazing too, he was everywhere he needed to be everytime
Dude when you think about it he is so spoiled. He kicked his entire team off and added new ones. I bet he is gonna do it again. He also wouldnt move from his chair after they lost game 4 to whoever that was. That is just my opinion.
