Zed and Lee overbearing?

Recently throughout the community there has been a huge amount of backsplash with players wanting Lee and Zed to be nerfed. Zed has been recently nerfed, but it happened after four patches of complaining. Lee on the other hand hasn't received any nerfs in a while. So a great question is, why are these champions we have complain about so much not receiving nerfs?

The win rates of Zed and Lee are 47.24% and 45.86% in that order. Why would Riot nerf champions when they aren't even winning 50.00% of the games they are played in. Also how much of the higher or lower teirs will be satified by the nerf. They have to find where the majority of all teirs can find the nerf agreeable. The real question is why are we pushing to nerf champs that already appear to be weak?

idk all i see is a bunch of 10-0 zeds throwing the game because they let it get to their head that they're fed and tried to 1v5 dive or they got caught trying to split while their team was buying or dead.

anyone can lose a game because they're an idiot, it doesn't mean the champion is balanced.

I used to call it fed akali syndrome, because akali players always got super fed and then would try to initiate fights because they figured they were invincible, only to get instantly blown up and lose the game for their team.

A low win rate doesn't indicate a weak champion by itself.

Look at their pick and ban rates - ridiculous when we have over 100 champions.

They both have overloaded kits, resulting in them being seen as "free elo" if you play them. they also both perform admirably in the professional scene, further boosting their popularity.

For someone who doesn't play mid to get stuck there, they'll pick zed because they think they will have enough of an advantage from the champion being overpowered to win anyways. Same for Lee in the jungle.

Add on top of that the fact that both kits are overloaded - they're incredibly hard to play champions. Even diamonds will suck (relative to other diamonds) on a champion they haven't played enough, and Lee and Zed probably both require well over 100 Games played to get remotely good with them. Players who haven't practiced adequately are bringing down their win rates.

I think the problem people have is with the potential plays. Few other champions can tower dive and get out as safely. Few other can chase/escape as easily, not to mention use everything to chase then get out freely if things go bad.

With Lee Sin in particular, he's already received a lot of nerfs to the point that he's actually pretty weak if you don't know him exceptionally well. He still has an overloaded kit though, and is still incredibly strong early game to start snowballing his lanes.

Most people in low elo do not even know how to use zed or lee's kit so idk why they are complaining. But aside from that Zed is not op at all he is just well balanced, same goes for lee although he can do more for his team than just kill.

The only thing your post shows is that you don't understand statistics.

Remember when they nerfed Lucian? People just moved on to Graves, who is basically the same shit. That's what will happen if you nerf Zed or Lee Sin. Zed was considered an underpowered champion with a very low pick rate until the last few months. But then Riot nerfed something else, leading to his skyrocketing popularity.

Nerfing every damn thing isn't the solution, instead of utilizing less "toxic" playstyles, players will just work around the nerfs to continue doing what they were doing.

Most people that complain about zed or lee are just complaining to complain. They have no understanding of champ weakness.
