Ranged Jungler

So far there is only one ranged jungler. Fiddlesticks . Fiddlesticks is AP. The next champion should be a ranged AD champion. Vote if you think yes or no.

I play Twitch and Varus in the jungle (although I play Varus AP). Twitch is fun because you basically get a guaranteed first blood and AP Varus can get item 3160 and a item 3085 then farm all the camps and champions too!

Fun things aside, this isn't possible without that champion being put other places (like top) by the community simply because he is stronger there. A good jungler needs one of three things to survive in the jungle, sustain, tankiness, or very high damage.

Now imagine an ADC with one of those things built in, it would be a nightmare to balance as they would either be put botlane and win every time or put top and just wreck anyone who comes near.

Do you see a trend among ADCs? All of them have very low base damage (usually around 50), and have no way to sustain outside of items. They also all have very low base health, armor, and health regen. It is a nice idea, but a champion like that would just break the game.

Kayle is ranged, and can be played jungle.

I would rather see buffs to tank junglers instead of a new jungler, needed as one is

Junglers tend to be either tanks, fighters, or assassins. Fiddlesticks is an exception, he is a squishy jungler, but he works because he can survive the jungle quite easily with his sustain and can still gank with his ult and cc.

It is not unheard of for some ranged ad champions to jungle. Quinn Vayne Twitch

I think it might prove to be problematic to balance but I do like the idea of having a ranged AD jungler.

This would be interesting. Having ranged auto attacks is really good on junglers because it lets you apply red buff sooner, so it'd be cool to see how a jungler presumably focused on ranged auto attacks would function.

Elise is also ranged, btw.

Karma is also a semi-viable jungler, since her early-game damage is huge.

A good jungler should be able to kill creeps quickly (via AoE or powerful abilities), mitigate the damage from creeps in some form, or both. Honestly, whether the champ is melee or ranged, if they can do this, then they are at least a viable choice for the jungles of the Fields of Justice. Unfortunately, there are not many ranged champions who can do this, save for (of course) Fiddlesticks.

(How can this have 25 yes votes and only 2 upvotes?)
Uhm I think a champion with a sling-shot would be cool ^^

I use Corki Jungle to great effect. His high burst and mobility allow me to get in and burst champions for ganks. If it doesn't result in a kill it usually results in the enemy having to back. I build SotEL, Black Cleaver, and Sorc boots consistently, then I build A few tanky items.

Doesn't Jayce work well in the jungle? He has a slow gap-closer, knockback, and speed boost for both himself and his ally during ganks. His mana issues are helped immensely by blue buff, and at its worst he could just E/Q a lane/enemy buff and walk away if fighting isn't preferable. Just seeing a Q come flying out of the jungle would scare people off (it's basically an AD Nid spear), you could play mind games all game.

His only problem is lack of damage early, but by bypassing Manamume with a jungle item it wouldn't be that big of a delay in items as it usually is since you're skipping tear and going straight for brutalizer/BF. You'd need a tanky top laner though, but then again you've got Renekton/Trundle/Shyvana for that sort of stuff.
