What do I do at this situation?

Was in a ranked match as irelia against riven, never played this matchup but in first 2 levels figured it out that she wrecks me early, at level 3 lost like 60% of my hp and just sat under the turret. At that point their jungle (lee) comes, they push in the wave and turret dive me while both being level 3. I died they both survived. I tp back to lane grab few minnions while i can, riven comes back and zones be so bad that i cant get any minnions (-30cs). Wu tries to gank but i failed to initiate or gank wasnt as good as it should be and riven escapes. At this point she is lvl6 im lvl 4. Wu is gone, I overstep with my Q and ofc im dead.

This is where I decide to sit under the turret without farm because otherwise I just die, but going back to the lane riven is farming between my turrets, i try to go under her to reach my 1st turret and I ward the bush to the left of the krugs and surprise surprise lee is there. So now I cant go back to the lane, RIven is free farming 2 waves, she is lvl 7 Im lvl 4. She leaves to recall I get back to the lane get few farm that I can, Riven is back I sit behind my minnions. She is like 80 farm up, kill and assist up, 2 levels up. Time goes, I get lvl6 she is lvl8 im down by 100 farm, lee comes and mid comes, they turret dive. I land m ult and stun still couldnt kill anyone. Ofc tower is lost and at this point my mid is raging telling me to quit this game and go afk. From this point on game was a complete downhill for our team.

So what do I actually do in situation like this, I felt helpless. Never been stomped like that. Is my mid raging justified? Did I lost us the game?

invent a time machine and ban riven. then choose darius.

First off you have to pay attention to when champions are at their strongest. Typically Rivens will try to trade heavily in their favor around level 2, then kill at 3. If the Riven has any idea what they're doing, they try this pattern almost every single game. If you survive the cheese early no big deal the rest of lane.

If it happens to you again, you need to just recall and give it up the farm before you get dove. Then ask your jungler for help to get access to the wave again. If you can't get jungler assistance give up the farm, but try to stay in experience range. It's better to lose the gold, but still get experience; than to die, lose exp, lose gold, and give gold to the enemy team.

It sucks and it's completely unfun to play in that situation, but it's better to concede that you lost than try to fight your way back in and make it worse. If Riven is only a kill and some farm ahead, but not substantially ahead, your jungler has a better chance of succeeding at a gank to pull you out of the hole. If you die a couple times it's likely a gank will make things worse as Riven might 1v2.

Hi from the little i know riven has combos idk if you could combo break her q or force/bait her to waste the ablilites for mobility i think solorenekton (youtuber) being top alot might see riven but, from experience with zileon ai CDR and morg ai perma bind CDR (lucky they where mana based), it gets annoying and hard to move. you get ranged easily, but riven is melee so maybe itll be easier.

idk if knockup and stun affect irelia's 2 part tank poke

also i havent practice tested irelia enough--but i did practice riven and she can double/triple idk quadruple cast which along with shyvanna was fun

minion damage might help too, idk the aggro range tho.
