I am having a really hard time making head way with this yasuo passive I am a huge mid laner and when I am against one it is so hard to fight him once he snowballs out of control im just wanting to know if any body thinks that yasuo should have a change with passive and no cost abilities to make it a little more calming then to yell and scream when you die all the time from him lol suggestions comments would be greatly appreciated thanks

Okay...

  1. Double crit - While yes, his crit chance is doubled, number one: the damage is reduced by 10%, and two: his base AD is subpar in the first place, so he's FORCED to build crit, taking two item slots and closing off his options while he needs so much.
  2. Flow shield - He needs this because he's a melee ADC that has to get in people's faces to deal damage... how will he deal damage if he's dead? Besides, you can pop it with a SINGLE AUTO ATTACK, I repeat; a. Single. Auto. Attack. No Yasuo will windwall an auto attack unless it will certainly kill him (which it usually won't). Auto attack him when his shield is up to keep it down.
  3. Yasuo is designed to snowball hard. Keep him from snowballing. Counterpick him (meaning no Lux or TF or Jhin Mid or anything like that) if you can, and if you insist on playing mages, play mages that can keep him still or on the defensive for your team to manage (Lissandra is a huge one that comes to mind). If you're having trouble, get your jungler to camp him and camp him hard; Yasuo was made to be on the offensive. Why do you think his dashes only work on the enemies? Yasuo is a sitting duck when he's on the defensive. Force him on the defensive. Azir does this magnificently, Zed can do it somewhat, Annie craps on Yasuo's day once she hits 6 and can just drop that stupid bear on him, there's many others. Again, if you insist on playing a mage, build Magic pen, since his base MR is garbage and he won't be build MR until his final two items (unless he goes QSS > Scimitar for his lifesteal item). If you can keep him from snowballing, he'll be nigh useless until the 30 or 35 minute mark. End the game before then, or bring it to a near end. And even if he starts his snowball, focus him, CC him to the ground (a still Yasuo is a very sad and very dead Yasuo), MURDER him. Make him your number one priority target in the beginning and throughout the game if he manages to kickstart his snowball.

Inb4: Yasuo main. No, I main Jhin mid (someone Yasuo counters extremely hard)... Yasuo's just my second favorite.
