"This game is not balanced"

These types of posts have always amused me. League of legends is perfectly balanced, and I will prove it to you.

If you take every single game of LoL every played, exactly half of those have been wins, and half of those have been losses.

Everyone has access to the same champions, the same runes, the same masteries, the same map. Everyone starts the game at the same time, with the same amount of gold. All the stats scale the same, all the items have the same effect, and all summoner spells act the same way.

You know what isn't balanced? Skill.

"B-b-but X champion is so op right now!" Oh ya? That champion has the same mechanics when you play it as when faker plays it.

"B-b-but X item is so OP right now!" That item does not change depending on the genetic code of the person purchasing it.

The game is the same for everyone. There is no pay to win. The only variable is the players.

But for real, what if there are just 7 goddly champions. 6 of which are banned durring the banning phase, and the 7th is ALWAYS first picked, and the game is fucked cuz one team picked Fior-- I mean, picked the OP Champion, That would be RNG wouldn't it?

Another pointless FoTMer shitpost telling us we should be happy with the 20 champs crowding out everything else and dominating the game.

"But muh hit mur zkill, I disurve to shave off halv yurr helpont burr"

You are aware that Riot themselves have stated that they INTENTIONALLY keep the game out of true balance in favor of keeping it interesting and fun, right?

So yeah, the game is unbalanced. I you disagree, you can write to Riot themselves.

ACTUALLY, There are not the same amount of wins as losses, there are sometimes Loss Preventeds. Which award the winning team a Win, and the losing team doesn't actually get a loss. :D

From a strict statistical viewpoint, yes, I understand exactly what you are saying.

However, people aren't all going to be playing the same champions. Take me, for example. If I go mid with Talon, here I am farming, but suddenly out of nowhere, Xin comes, at half health, tower dives me, destroys me when I am at full health, and walks away almost unscathed, is that fair? No. Sure, the champion has the same mechanics regardless of the player, but the difference between champions is what everyone is complaining about. Is it fair that I can ult in someone's face, as Lucian, and hit them with every bullet, only to have Lux deal the same or more amount of damage with her root? No.

Genetic code has no effect on this, but will Master Yi with item 3124 do better than Talon with item 3124? Absolutely. Now, I am not saying all champions should flourish with any item, nor am I completely disagreeing with you. Yes, balance issues are not as bad as everyone is making it, but, at the same time, is game could use some balancing tweaks.

go play Yi in the jungle. Buy sated, and guinsoo. Then nothing but tank. It is as far from balanced as you can probably get

That logic fails so hard I am too befuddled to respond. I couldn't read any more after the first part where you argue an overall 50% winrate means the game's balanced. You know how hilariously stupid that argument is? That's about matchmaking more than any game balance. It tries to bring everyone to 50% - at whatever rank you achieve.

Technically not true. Draws aside 100% of games have been won and lost.
