In-game Penalty for Suicide Strategy- ARAM and Events

I think it's fair to call for an in-game penalty for intentional death in LoL. I get that Riot is trying to allow come-backs by rewarding the losing side and minimizing penalties for dying too much. But in games like ARAM or One For All, people have been constantly abusing this with champions like Sion or Karthus. Right now, a Karthus can build full AP, no health, no mana, no CDR, simply dash in with E activated, die, spam q, respawn, and repeat. Early on he may look like an everyday troll you'd find in LoL, but since mid-game, he will start to leave devastating damage to team (mostly due to his unblock-able wide range attacks) and you will notice there is no way to walk past your turret or you'll be destroyed by a suicidal Karthus. Whether this is intended or not, I think there simply needs to be an in-game penalty for intentionally dying, even if it's a well devised strategy. I have no better suggestions about how to penalize this other than maybe debuffing or reducing rewards past certain mark of deaths. Maybe someone will come up with a plan. About Sion and One For All, many of you should have seen 5 Sions ignoring all minions and champions and straight up hacking at mid turrets. Then they ult back to mid lane and repeat until Nexus is down.

ARAM is a joke mode.... no one should ever be penalized for effing around in ARAM , that includes intentional suicide for whatever purpose (Shopping, Karthus, etc.)

Man, Karthus players will not intentionally die if it isn't worth, and the same is true for Sion players. If after death they are still able to significantly wreck you thanks to their passives, they are playing well, they are not intentional suiciding because it wouldn't be worth for them if they were giving small damages to you

Eh, what? Riot isn't trying to allow comebacks. If anything, they are pushing for the winning team to secure the victory. I've won too many games from comebacks, and while I don't enjoy being curbstomped, I sometimes feel like I'm cheating the enemy just because we had a lucky breakthrough.

There is, sorta. Each death gives up gold and xp to the enemy team while sacrificing personal xp.

The problem is that it's not really possible to distinguish between suicides and normal deaths. If you penalize deaths, comebacks become much harder, and snowballing would be even more frustrating.

I always confer with my team before selecting/implementing a high death rate strategy. Simply because I don't want to be reported for legitimate play. I did a split-push Sion game once and my team was fine with it, but only because I told them my intentions, and only died excessively under controlled conditions and not just trying to 1v5 every 60 seconds.

So basically, if your team isn't OK with it, don't do it. Or do it anyways and risk getting reported for feeding. Up to you.
