The First patch they will completely undo within the year.

First, my complaints.

1. Please remove the get ready screen taking priority when there are only 10 seconds left before game start. I've always figured my stuff out, and wouldn't be tabbed out if I did not. Missing 1-5 seconds of any other content I'm browsing every time is lame. I'm counting on you leaving this in the game though because what I want more than convenience is to know people are being hurt. I'm also counting on you making sure only the clients of people you hate behave this way because I'm smart. That won't outweigh the joy I get from imagining other people suffering though, so I win.

2. I want the esports notifications to appear again. I thought there were games today, and find out way after broadcast is gone that I missed Marines. I finally found the tiny icon I'd have to tap to see notifications, but I'm not aware of if I'm willing to tap that every day.

Alright, now here's why this patch is going to be undone.

First, looking at the reworks and overhauls of the new champions, it's clear every champ is going to be turned into "press R to win" and it won't even work because the R is never good enough to carry this. It's clear game designers have changed, and to prove my point I'd advise the people currently driving design to quickly brainstorm a champion who's ultimate is only an alternative approach (Like Nidalee, Udyr, or Leblanc.) They won't be able to do it because they're not veteran designers. This will prove the current designer(s), whomever they are, aren't up to task yet.

Second, whoever decided to put Attack Power on Guardian Angel has driven the game into an unfair direction in terms of balance. Expect to see GA everywhere, and it revives players with half their life too! The last few games I've played, it's become clear we're heading back to "single player can carry, team matters not" situations like we've seen a long, long time ago. I'm not against this, since it's interesting to be able to contribute to such a games now that I have more experience, but I figured it wasn't what you wanted and you'd enjoy a warning.

If it wasn't clear a long time ago that game play is continuing to veer towards Korean style domination when players all along the spectrum have begun tower diving at level 2 successfully, it should be clear now that you're transforming into that style. I just wanted to give you a heads up because if that's what you wanna do that's fine, however you wanna go forwards is fine with me, I just really thought you weren't into that, but this is exciting!

Long story short: Please fix the two complaints in the most reasonable ways by preventing client from sapping priority 10 seconds before game launch every time and adding at least teeny tiny popups to let us know when Pros are playing and we can watch them, and unless your intention is to invest more heavily into Korean style hyper-loners solo smashing smurfing with intentions to reach a more intended consumer audience, pretty much all the changes made this last May 2, 2017 patch are going to have to be reverted.
