Honestly, I feel like there's an unspoken pact of sportsmanship to never use her and they just broke it. True damage, healing, CC immunity, and a stun that lasts at least as long as Twisted Fate's gold card/Brand's Inferno combo, BEFORE they actually buffed those to last as long as her stun.
Now that the unspoken pact is broken, we might finally see irelia spam banned/first picked like the dirty cheat she is.

There is no pact. Irelia has been mediocre for a long, long time. They simply overbuffed her.
As soon as they revert any of her buffs, she'll be back to mediocrity. She's not a dirty cheat, and you probably never noticed her before this patch :P
