Ivern, questions and thoughts.

I see that his role has shifted to that of a support that jungles and can freely roam. People opting for Redemption and other team friendly itemization builds. I even see him around with the warding jungle item with cinderhulk, or even no finished jungle item.

Now I understand that if so many people are using it in the higher elo and in general it must be good, having tried it myself with Windspeakers and everything else I've seen it's fun. But does this mean that AP Ivern isn't worth the time any more? I still feel that he has a fun kit for dueling if everything is up, I just don't see many Iverns anymore let alone AP Iverns.

He can be such a nuisance to lanes and the enemy junglers either way, but why don't we see him a lot anymore? And I understand he plays around Triggerseed, thus the Windspeakers and +10% shield items but is Thunderlords not worth the time? Does the benefits of Windspeakers far outweigh Thunderlords ir is it preference and team comp related?

He has such an odd and unique role in the jungle and I'm curious as to his potential as well as future possibilities in regards to itemization, runes and masteries.
