I don't understand promos

So for starters, highest i made it last season was Silver 3, not great i know but still i was happy. however i did drop to Silver 5 had bad run of games (feeders, afk's, and some general bad gameplay on my part) i stopped play ranked cause i didnt wanna drop to b5. So obviously I ended silver 5 which im fine with.

So I win 7 out of my 10 games for promos this season, which is pretty good in my mind.1 because of an afk, 2 of the losses I played pretty bad trying to jungle, which is what I main, but gave up after two helpless teams and went top lane with Renekton, one of my favorite champs. I only went negative my 2 jungle games, 3-9 as Diana (which I won this game) 1-5 as Shyvana. Now as for my Renekton games I went 8-7-4 L, 6-4-3 W, 5-3-0 L, 20-6-13 W (had 2 Quadra kills), 23-6-10 W, 11-3-3 W, 10-5-5 W, 10-3-5 W. Now I assumed with those kinda stats and winning 7 out of 10 of my games I would probably get B1 or at the very very least B2 I wasn't expect much, figured I wouldn't get Silver. But what I don't understand is how I can play that well and be placed into B4 like whats the point. 1 of those 20+ games I had I literally carried my team back on my own from defeat. The Quadras I got was because my whole team had engaged terribly, all 4 my team died, and I stopped the enemy team single handedly from taking our nexus, TWICE in one game.... I just don't understand it at all.....End Rant I guess.

I won 9/10 out of mine and when I won we ended up stomping hard most of them and when I lost I went about even. Ended up as bronze 1 even though in normals I play Plats and Golds a ton. I think it undervalues your level to see if you can climb to where you might end up at. But I think they do it too low since I know bronze 1 is nowhere I belong maybe Silver 3 or something. I was also Silver IV last season and that might play a role in it idk. My normal MMR seems to be pretty high or the MMR range is much higher or something not sure how it works because I face Plats and Diamonds a good amount and always Golds.
