Is League dying?

I've been reading a lot of threads here for the past 2 months. And mostly its some reasonable things about specific champion / role / item. In a very big percentage of threads its hard not to notice the dissatisfaction of a lot of players from all regions. And i have to agree with most of you. Games where an adc can singlehandedly kill your entire team in a blink, 2017 memes with Ardens Censer, Tank hp percentage damage, lethality damage, all of that and probably lots of other things i have forgot to mention, made the game extremely NOT enjoyable. With the pace they are going right now, i expect a lot of players abort playing this game cause they just don't enjoy the game anymore. Riot is struggling really hard to keep the game fresh with new champions, constant meta changes, but every time they change something, for the past two years, the game's being worse and worse with every new thing they add. New champions are being either useless or broken, ( Aatrox that is getting a rework even tho it's relatively new champion, to Zoe, who has huge burst damage in early levels ) with some exceptions such as Camille, who is pretty good designed and balanced ( imo ). Anyhow, i feel the game is dying with every new update they release

These threads have been a constant factor since the beginning of league. And they will continue to be till the end.

No. Don't take the boards seriously. Riot certainly doesn't. That's why they care more about reddit's feedback

133,000,000 games in tha last 7 days, 13,000 games every minute. 130,000 players starting a game every minute, you tell me if the game is "dying"

Sounds like every gaming forum ever since the beginning of online gaming. Far more people only come to the forum to bitch and moan. While the people that are satisfied would rather just keep playing the game.

So no, it's not dying.

Meh, lots of people are losing the hype and enjoyment.

Even I am playing tons of Sea of Thieves since its release cause I LOVE pirates and sailing and stuff and have always wanted a game about it. Playing gangplank doesnt do it for me though.

If you make this same thread in OW forums you'll get 50 replies within mins. Here you wont even make 10 till tomorrow. This is how you know a community is leaving/dying. And don't pull out the reddit card. OW's reddit is way more active...

And I aint here promoting OW, I just use it as an example cause at the moment they got a huge issue with a huge amount of the fanbase after a horrible move by their balance team.

Yesterday xmas was better.

Same procedure as every year.

A game like League doesn´t "die". It´s just that there is no hype. There is no game within reach yet wich could replace League. Some games tried to get there but games like dota meanwhile needed to reinvent themselfes as dota2.

League will "die" if another game (wich is to be invented) or perhaps another competitive genre will replace it. It will unlikely die out of own mistakes of the owner.
