Jungle Clearing Question/Advice

Hello there, I'm just looking for a little advice or insight. Before the recent changes, I had been playing a lot of Kindred. Was quite fun. I was able to do my first clear pretty much without potions at all, by careful kiting of the minion camps. Now, after the changes, I struggle to clear properly. It seems as if I'm running out of mana bizarrely fast, the potions have little impact, and I'm severely under-leveled. Having read the patch, I'm aware of a slight nerf to her HP regen, and I'm also aware that her stacks have been capped against monsters, but this is well before any stacks are had. I've also noticed that a great deal of jungle monsters have actually taken nerfs to their armor, and their HP. I'm absolutely lost at this point, can anybody offer advice? The early clearing troubles are putting me seriously behind, and it's not fun for a jungler to be 3 levels and however much gold down. Thank you kindly.

I tried doing my Kindred jungle last night, and I used to be able to take Gromp with no leash, but I wasn't able to this time. Yes, I did redo my masteries for Kindred. It just feels like Kindred is now worthless for the position she was DESIGNED for. It saddens me deeply. RIP Kindred You weren't around long, but we will miss you deeply. JK But seriously, Kindred feels next to worthless now.

HUNTER's MACHETE WAS NERFED TO KINGDOM COME. This is why you are having clearing problems with her. I used her in the current meta and the only thing I really noticed is that she is mana hungry

I continue to feel like something doesn't add up. Yes the sustain got hit hard, but I might over look that with the ability to buy a third potion. I'd be more concerned with clear speed. But even with the damage nerfs to Machete, the Jungle monsters also got nerfs across the board.

I feel like theirs another piece to the puzzle that we are over looking. (maybe having something to do with Masteries. )

Also, why are you not starting Blue if your having mana problems? If you cast spells frequently enough, you should probably start blue.

For Kindred's case, Note that Hunters Machete deals on hit damage. So I would get early AS if you don't have it already. And since a lot of the camps got Armor nerfs, Early armor pen isn't as good anymore, since you can't go below 0 using armor pen.

The old machete did 30 damage over 3 sec with every hit you did and also restored a 7 health and 3 mana per hit along with a gold bonus. That and we don't have bladed armor anymore which makes me sad, because these 2 things made pretty much any champ viable in the jungle for me. By viable I mean I could clear 3 camps and gank without having a leash.

Hm, I just tried starting Talisman, and it was better. It wasn't fantastic, but it -was- better. I think it's because her kite-with-Q style makes the 20 on-hit from Machete not worth as much as the DoT and the mana regeneration. I'm still fussing with my masteries, trying to figure out what's most valuable and what isn't.

Bruh, you got to respond to comments appropriately. Bottom left hand corner, there's a "reply" button.

Otherwise, you're just commenting on your own thread and not giving anyone else notifications.

You look like you're talking to yourself.

Okay, i'm going to assume you've taken all the help you can in the masteries before posting here for help. So if you have taken the safest masteries you can try this: Start->Gromp->wolves->raptors Then back and buy:item 1041 item 1039 item 2031 (you should have 2/3 of them ofc already, buy item 1039 ) Then do your buffs. The other option is to start Redbuff->wolves->skuttlecrab->bluebuff

I like going Krugs > Razer Beaks > Scuttle > Red

I'll give the alternate routes a shot, but I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. I don't like to complain about balance, but something seems seriously wrong here.

I had issues with a few junglers, partly do to hunter machette, but another thing I felt was off was Smite timings, but that was fixed with 12 points in the resolve tree. It gets the missing health regen, you just have to be conservative with your mana on your first clear.
