Tell me riot, is it fair having 5 complete strangers play a game against a 4 man team with verbal communication and who have interpersonal knowledge of one another and each others play-style?

Does boxing or MMA have match-ups with welterweights vs heavyweights? Does the NBA base their player ranking and call themselves professionals because they gather random joes off the street to play against them? Football? Hockey? CS-Go Teams? Soccer?

What fucking sports/esports company does this? You call yourself an e-sports company that gives a fair advantage for competitive players to prove their worth?

The thing I like about DOTA is that they have solo mmr and party mmr, so you can see your worth in both aspects.

Yes! Absolutely this! This is one of several dozen reasons I will never be able to call League of Legends (or any MOBA) a sport. They put you into the same circuit as the pros, and yet certain teams end up with unfair advantages that can end up harming a solo player's MMR unfairly. None of the real sports you mentioned do this. I heard someone say that League is better because it vets players ahead of time, but that's just not true. Every other sport does that with college level play or farm leagues.

The difference is, even at those levels, players are all a part of a static team. It's fair because both teams have equal chance to learn how each other player will act in different situations. In League, the only players with a true chance of getting to the "pro" level are those who are already a five-man team. Except us solo players who just want to see where we stack up to other solo players have our fun dampened by the presence of these five-man teams in our solo queues.

Happens in about 5% of the games.

On the other hand, LoL is a team game if you didn't realize it so far. That means that team setups are the most appropriate. That means premade players who practice together, develop strategies, synergize picks and team comps, communicate during the game, etc. If you are not willing to put in that much work, you shouldn't complain that some people do.

So basically Riot can't figure out how to fix it. Here is the you tube video where they designer of dynamic q saying he's working on it but can't figure out how. They realize that solo q you can't climb as easy as people who have premade. They relize that people who solo q are just fucked get a premade or you not going to climb lol. Whatever.

I always love this...people complain about Dynamic Queue, but they don't think to make the system work FOR THEM.

As if they DON'T have a friends list filled with people who they played with, thought were cool, and literally have a means to invite for a game to make this "broken ass system" work FOR you instead of AGAINST you.

If you want to WIN, you USE WHATEVER ADVANTAGES YOU HAVE. People already play Darius, Yasuo, Zed, or any other stomp-y and/or broken champions as defined by the meta and whatever CertainlyT has touched lately. WHY are you INTENTIONALLY gimping yourselves?

"Muh skill!" You can still show it. In fact it might even be EASIER if you WEREN'T worried that your teammates might be brain-dead boosted monkeys.

"I don't want to make it look like I was carried!" Your game stats prove that FOR you. If you contributed just as much as everyone else did, what's it matter?

"butbut-" Look Timmy, if some socially inept asshat decides that you're somehow 'not legit' unless you got to Gold/Plat/Diamond strictly on your own? that's THEIR hangup. You played the TEAM GAME as it was meant to be played, you presumably contributed, and you got the rewards.

xXSoloQueueDouchebagXx can cry all he wants, you're the one who gets that nice Plat border and that Victorious skin. If he's still in bronze because he's got a bug up his butt about some fake rules that no one HAS to play by, then oh well...sucks to be him.
