Suggestion: Lux W/Shield change to help counteract problem of stopping movement to cast it

Hi there! I love playing Lux and I really appreciate the QOL change to her E/Lucent Singularity for early detonation and W/Shield application but I have a suggestion here for her shield in particular.

I find that casting her shield is clunky and disruptive in her kit and, in some cases, will get you killed. The barrier it gives isn't even worth the risk of stopping movement against the majority of high mobility champs or long range burst ap mages. It's just too risky to cast vs straight out running for your life.

I'd love to suggest removing the handicap of stopping to cast but I'm afraid that it would be too similar to Karma's current shield ability although that hasn't stopped ideas or concepts of abilities being re-used and implemented in other situations. **Therefore I suggest a different change/addition to her shield, something along the lines of: "If shield is completely absorbed before it fades, target receives #movement speed for #seconds." **Probably the ratios wouldn't be huge enough to dwarf or threaten Karma (and she can still cast AND move) but it would make casting shield more of a decision vs. F this-RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

Most situations now: Is it worth stopping movement for barrier? Hell no, just run. The damage it protects you from is not enough to survive burst and the loss of speed will prevent you from getting away from mobile champs. VS. With change: Will the enemy do enough damage to burst through the shield and allow target to have a slight increase in speed to possibly get away or will casting it be a mistake and NOT give the movement speed and I'll get caught because of it?

I've also thought about giving a bonus to the shield on Lux herself if it's absorbed: "Lux shield fades, gains temporary invisibility/mirage for #short time." That ties into her lore about being an invisible spy sneaking around High Command but this just sounds op. Then again, having an ap mage with a small invisibility/mirage gain would actually make a nice change in the mid lane. Can't think of a mid that currently has anything like this, and stealth is really something that is rare in the game itself (Eve, Twitch, Shaco, Rengar, Khaz?).

What do you think? Personally, I love the idea and her current ability really feels outdated and clunky. If you want to keep this drawback, at least give me a trade off in some form that is relevant currently in the game. And, whenever I get a chance to tie in the lore, I'm taking it. :)

Thanks and any comments appreciated!

**TLDR: **Current shield is clunky and loss of movement to cast is too risky and not worth. Suggesting addition of this: "If shield is completely absorbed before the light fades, target receives #movement speed for #seconds." Not huge ratios, just a small compensation for the loss of casting the shield or possibly a tiny buff in speed as a reward.

If Lux's shield had no cast time, that would be okay. Extra movespeed is unnecessary.

all of her spells make her stop and she is supposed to be a long ranged mage who gets into trouble if you manage to get next to her not "oh look not i have extra safety" she doesn't need a MS boost. Learn to position yourself better

as a lux main. no no no. she does not need any form of mobility. she is already creeping on that debateable edge of too strong and balanced. her Q double snare buffs might have put her a little over the top, but the W and E are perfect.

a movement speed buff is just absurd. Lux needs weaknesses. her main weakness right now is that if she misses the Q she is pretty much screwed. let's leave it that way. Its what seprates a good lux from a bad lux. the shield is something you have to know be prepared to cast and cast right before a trade begins. if you are bad at casting it or try to cast in the middle of running well then i dont know what to tell you. Lux has two very huge tools for escaping, the Q effectively makes you escape unless they are super duper fast like udyr and the E helps in additon the Q as it slows them if you dont detonate right away.

Lux is perfectly fine imo. I don't think she needs nerfs or buffs, but IF anyone is going to nerf anything my guess is they will revert the second snare binding buff to her Q.
