Zyra has the best basic ability pets in the game, but I want more ways to micro manage them, and....
they are really weak for what they do. plant damage is fine though. Well sometimes. What happens is I have a group of plants up that are boosted by my ult, then they all die from a random AoE spell. It is sad to watch. I understand that
is an S tier support, but is weak mid lane because she has trouble defending herself in a 1v1 situation. Plant pressure tactics are key for
to be effective enough to make the mid lane or your adc thrive. What I feel is lacking is that her plants are underwhelming for the effort you put into spawning them at the right time, only to have them die in less then a second followed by YOU dying in less than a second. (sort of exaggerating, more like 3 seconds)
What I want to see from
is more opportunities for micro strategy from plants. What happens is I place down some seeds, Then the enemy approaches me and then walks away which baits me into growing plants, Then, After 8 seconds they die or the enemy kills then on their own from a distance. than I am pretty much dead at that point It is to hard and do not have enough time to replace those plants. All I can do is run, But
is super slow like holy crap.
So what I want for
is to have a way to replace dead plants quickly to put pressure on my enemies, so I can use micro strategy to offset {{champions:143}} vulnerable when alone weakness. So I have a way to do that and it is simple.
Rampant growth (w): now has a garden of thorns ability and now can hold up to 8 charges at level 1, 9 at 2, 10 at 3, 11 at 4, and 12 at max W rank, But rampant growth will only create up to 2 charges on its own.
each level in this ability increases the maximum number of seeds you can plant, by 1 per rank.
If you right click on a seed while nearby a seed, you pick it up and store it as a rampant growth charge. Any seed can be picked up and will turn into the 60 second duration seed if you picked up a passive generated seed. Charges gained this way have no duration while you are holding them. You may pick up seeds till you reach the W charge cap defined by each rank in your W spell.
This would be super fun to play as and wouldn't be too oppressive to play against. You could simply relocate your seeds to a more useful location, or you could save them until you actually need them. This new W would be retroactive, which means you could store seeds before you add any ranks to the ability. The max charges for level 0 W should be 6, and would increase to 8 total charges, and your W would generate up to 2 charges naturally at levels 1-5. level 0 seeds are the same as your passive seeds. but will turn into the better seeds as soon as W gets it's level 1 rank.
Also her ultimate Is kinda weak for the cool down it has. So I would make a way to use it more often so I am not just getting baited into using it then the enemy waits till all of my plants die, than proceeds to kill me after words. I just want a way to rapidly reduce the cool down so I can buff my plants again quicker to turn the tides in a team fight more often. Think about it, the way people respond to your ult doesn't make it very good. They just bait you into using it and then kill your plants, then you. (said this a couple times already)
If you believe this should not be and I am doing something wrong, (which you probably will) please help me with runes, items, and tactics for
Other wise I really think this would make
more fun to learn because you could have to learn correct plant placement tactics. So I really see this buff to actually be healthy for the game.
