Let's talk about WuKong

In all honesty, WuKong feels almost as bad to play as old Galio. This is coming from a WuKong main who has played him since season 4. I just think it's time to show some love to our favorite monkey and maybe help him figure out whether he's supposed to be played as a tank or a bruiser. Maybe start by making his passive not a less powerful or meaningful mastery? I don't know, it just kinda sucks when your favorite champion just feels so weak.

Uhm, the reason Galio got reworked, was because he was too op. So, the first statement you made was completely incorrect.

Honestly, the only time I feel weak on Wukong is when I play him for the first time in many, many months because I forget what I'm doing.

While I can't say much for how Wukong mains might feel, every Wukong I've ever played with has dominated, be it with or against me. Maybe the current meta doesn't favor him too much, but I don't really think Wukong is weak, myself. Of course, I could be totally wrong, but that's the point of discussion I suppose.

I do agree his passive could use tweaking. I don't really feel like it actually helps me in any way when I DO play him.

WuKong is one of those champions I wanna like but he just okay. Mana just doesn't seem to fit him as a resource. He is one of the few champions that has always been strong when played correctly. I agree, his passive is a bit confusing as to what role does he play.

i mean its true just compare JarvanIV EQ is = what wukong needs to EQR the difference here is jarvan can nuke the whole enemy team armor if lined well . provide cc that is not in ult and is on demand . and at the same time no need for his ult to burst someone up because his passive just finishes the kill for him . wukongs passive is stone skin a few years later item 3193 this is comming out and oh would you look at what it does .... makes me question whats the reason for making wukongs passive and if so why hasnt he been reworked before this item came out (unique champions hello?) . then his W which to be honest with you wont fool anyone plat + because the clone is not distracting it saves you from skill shots here and there and honestly you primarily use if for invisibillity (literally if wukongs W was becomes invisible for 1.5 secs it would make no diffference at all to him ) now lets talk about 1 final thing his positive winrate in THIS season . the answer is very simple hes almost never played in higher elo (plat 3 +) and NONE of the new masteries help him out at all even mastery paths . so what am i to do with him ?. riot made wukong on the basis of he can be a jungler but he also can be a toplaner (BUT HIS KIT IS SO DIVIDED HE DOESNT EXCEL AT EITHER ) and then dont get me started again on his passive (7 armor per enemy champ waow so much much survivability much triksterness most monkey ) item 3193 just remember what can this item do . ill leave that hanging in there for a while . i really want him to get a VGU look at him in game he looks horrible

I don't see him as a good bruiser lately. Honestly every time I play against a competent wukong it's full AD assassin jungle build. I'm all for increasing his tankyness if it means he has to give it up some damage maybe on his E and R.
