Hey some advice for newer players

Hey, I played a while back and was very casual. "I know burn it with fire." But now I have come back. And even tho I am level 30+ I still have never ranked. So my question is durring the provisional matches. How should I go about telling my team that I am "Horri-bad" and will most likely cost them the game?

Also I was thinking of saying something along the lines of. "Hey I am new these are the champs I am good with. What do you want?"

Also why do people hate Ashe and call me a troll for simply playing her?

Honestly don't tell your team that you are bad. First that means you have already come into the mindset you are bad and mindset is half the game. Second its automatically gonna start to tilt your team a little and when you make a single mistake its going to be a lot worst then if you didn't say anything. People most likely hate when you play ashe because she isn't really good in the meta right now so people get offended because of that. So if you want some solid advice don't worry about what your team says unless it is about callouts in game. Get good at like 4 champs so your team cant call you out for being new at your champ and just enjoy the game

What role do you pick Ashe into? If it's adc, then she can do the job so your teammates are welcome to shut up. If any other role, they are right and you should not pick Ashe there.

As far as telling your teammates that you think you're bad to lower their expectations... don't. Do your best and if you think you are bad, then be inclined to listen to your teammates ideas/suggestions/instructions in the game. Some people will tell you horribly stupid stuff with complete seriousness, there's no avoiding that, but you're gonna have to learn to filter out the stupid from the sensible over time.

As far as your champion pool goes, you have 2 bot laners, a jungle/mid, a support/mid and a top laner. You have a shallow pool for a lot of roles. I think it could help to focus on two roles and develop your pool for that, while, if your two main roles don't include it, getting the basics of supporting down, just because most of the time you get autofilled, it will be to that role. It will be very rare to get autofilled to any other role, so for those occasions you can just take the 3 lp hit for the dodge.

Thank you. The advice is good. I realise some 9f this after playing a little bit more. Just keep quiet for the most part. Watching YouTube videos has helped.

There are some really toxic people but it doesn't bother me. I feel that if i get through these provisional matches. Ill be put in a place hopefully where i can learn and grow as a player..

One thing is i pick bot. I may pick bot/mid or bot/sup ih the future. I wish riot let you create more rune pages. That being said multiple champs can work with certain rune combinations.

I played against a guy i thought was really good. I looked him up and he was a silver 3. My question is how much better is a diamond 1? Or is it a matter of less mistakes and better positioning?
