What is Riot doing with Ryze? Which direction do you think Ryze should be pushed in?

I honestly don't understand the direction Riot is going with Ryze.... nerfing Ryze by limiting the amount of spells he can cast is simply pushing him more and more towards a burst mage killing the opponent in a few spells...

Honestly if anything I would want it to go the other way... making his spells cheaper but weaker and allowing him to cast even more spells making him more focused around DPS instead of burst... though I do understand that this would likely make Ryze rather weak in teamfights unless he got some tools to survive in a teamfight standing still and chain casting with his rather short range

Maybe there is something I am not seeing? Or maybe there are better options? Please tell me your opinion in the comments

I want to see a major nerf in his early game and a buff in his late game

For I have this issue with ryze, his ultimate, the moment he presses R he basically has a completed item. Ryze being a "late game or bust" champion is a complete untrue myth, Ryze is strong at all points in the game, he is not weak to ganks, for he can just snare and ult to run away, and hell he might just decide to straight up kill you if hes good enough when you gank him.

Ryze is not a late game or bust champion, with his ultimate, he is good at all points in the game, I want to see Ryze get the Kayle treatment.

For those who don't know Kayle was a champio who had both a strong early game and late game, so what riot did was they reworked her into haveing a poor early game but a god tier late game, and she is still that way today, if you reach late game with kayle, you have strong solo carry potential.

I want to see that happen with Ryze, I want his early game gutted, but I want to see his late game buffed.
