Morgana Shield vs Fizz Ult (I NEED ANSWERS RIOT)

I have been a morgana main for 860k points and just recently swapped to support and stopped one tricking her a month ago. Every time I laned against a fizz his ult would stick to my shield. In a recent game that did not happen and i'm wondering when this change occurred. I have checked an absurd amount of patch notes and can't find the one that changed this. I know that riot adds stuff into the game without putting it into the patch notes but this seems pretty game changing not to. Can someone from riot please tell me when this change occurred?

im pretty sure it happened when they removed the ability for it to jump onto nearby enemies if it missed since spell sheilds stop it from connecting at first but never stopped it from just hopping back on
