not really... pc's are better for creating games (and modding games). consoles are better for gaming because they're balanced out to a specific standard. you buy a disc and it will always work on that console. pc gaming comes with monthly fees and all kinds of pay to win scenarios 20+ providers, EULA and limited license agreements etc etc. not to mention a controller is more responsive and can fit snugly in the palm of a players hands.

pc has processing power, but that's not important unless you're playing a pc specific game that's like 100gb's of dlc and uses 9.5k graphics - which once again - what's the point of having a huge ass monitor if you have to sit at a desk to play a game? i'd rather lay on my bed or couch upside down in my underwear.

PC usually has better maintenance compared to consoles in terms of updates and patches. And modding is also a plus. The other thing is that PC's allows for a lot more games to be stored. I can maybe have 10 games on my Xbox 1 because of how limited the space to store the games is on them. There is not Steam for X-box (yes there is a steam box, but you still need a computer to run it).

As for whether a controller is more responsive than a mouse is debatable. Some quality keyboards and mice are very good. You also are not limited by batteries (yes some controllers have cords but those usually are not the "default" model and have to be bought separately).

Consoles have monthly fees too. You need a gold membership for Xbox live (anything involving updates to multiplayer, sometimes even being able to play the game needs a gold membership) which is a payed subscription.

your first list is entirely correct - but that's mostly because consoles weren't originally hooked up to the internet so pc is more experienced and developed in that department. the storage part is due to game size and console companies being focused on reduction of cost. i can put 500 games on my xbox just as easily as you can put it on your pc and perhaps at a cheaper price. data will always be data and consoles - while sold with cheaper parts - can upgrade their storage capacity.

mice and keyboards arent as responsive because of how they operate. the keyboard functions can be mapped to a chat pad, the analogs provide 360 degree pressure sensitivity which allows for very fine adjustments for both movement speed and camera angle - which you cant get with the bi-liner toggles switches of the keyboard and the sweeping response optical lens of a mouse. the reason why people feel more comfortable with a mouse and keyboard is that they're used to using them for every day life such as browsing the web and office work. it takes time to build those muscles up in your hands just as much as it would require to build them up in your fingers. one thing a controller does is actually reduce carpal tunnel syndrome by not requiring the hand to be stretched out in an unnatural pose relying on pressure from the back of the hand. not to mention mice and keyboard are bulky and require ample space to position and maneuver. if mice and keyboard were genuinely better then they would have used them for console gaming as well seeing as mice and keyboard have been around longer and gaming started on pc.

only the online parts of consoles have monthly fees - most of which are actually caused by the overlap of pc gaming being spread into console gaming. if it werent for pc's having pioneered such ways then console wouldnt have taken the same route. any true console gamer will tell you how much they'd rather just have a nice story and splitscreen multiplayer instead of all of these online only games like R6S and Destiny.

it's nice to play online sometimes, but console gamers prefer a good single-player game more than anything. that and local area network play for championships.
