Don't know if this would be QoL change or otherwise

TL;DR: I would personally LIKE it if a small, short message were displayed for all Team-mates to see when a player is recalling, like so:

"EbonybladeJ88 ( Darius ) is Recalling!"

(I'm a Top-lane Main, just letting everyone know if that happens to be important to them)

In Heroes of the Storm, when a player is returning to base, a message is displayed for all that player's team-mates to see, for example:

"Character X is Hearthing!" (Hearthing is what they call Recalling/Returning to Base)

It lets the player's team-mates know that he or she is returning to base, so they will have to alter any plans they were making if this player's character would have been a large factor in its success or failure.

Now in League of Legends, that is not the case. The only indicator of a player Recalling is, of course the player's selected Champ's recall animation, and the small effect shown around the Champ's mini-map icon WHEN they are recalling. While I'm not faulting Riot for not adding this, I simply think that adding a small, short message that is displayed to a player's team-mates when they initiate Recalling would be helpful, like the example below:

"EbonybladeJ88 ( Darius ) is Recalling!"

This would let other players know, such as hypothetical Junglers, Mid or other possible players coming to assist me, that I am returning to base, and MIGHT not be in a position to help them should they follow through with their original plan to Gank or something like that. And also, depending on my HP and MP (Because I try to ping them when I recall to let my team-mates know of my current status) I might not be able to GET into a position to aid them. This will give them a chance to rethink their plan and alter it to something like this, perhaps:

"OK, Darius is recalling, I'll just take care of the minions at the Tower and hold down the fort until he gets back." (This could be if I were going about even with my opponent, or possibly losing)

Or maybe this will occur in their minds:

"OK, Darius is recalling, perhaps my aid would be best used elsewhere." (This could be an example of if I were WINNING my lane and my Tower was capable of taking a little punishment)

I suppose if you REALLY want me to cut to the chase about this, it's because in the last few games I've played, the Junglers I've gotten have made mistakes resulting in their deaths at times when I was NOWHERE near being capable of helping them (Be it that I was too far away, was 3/4s the way through Recalling when they arrived at my lane, or something like that). They then proceeded to blame me for it, and held a grudge, refusing to Gank my lane or help me for the rest of the game.

If you've read this far, thanks for reading my thoughts on this, and GL and HF in your games!

Nope. Darius needs the buff of jumping higher on his ultimate for his dunk master skin. He jumps too short.

There needs to be raucous cheering as well by an unseen crowd.

I swear, every time I dunk someone with the skin I hear in my head, "And the Dunkmaster crowns another one! CHEERS" or something similar to that.

As long as we can also mute the "X" player is recalling notification...why not?

Never said it had to make a noise. In HOTS, for example, there is only audible noise or speech when you are NEAR a player who is initiating their Recall/Hearthing/Return to Base action.

Otherwise, it is just a silent line of text that would appear similar to just posting a message in chat.

they could just add a "on my way" ping that shows you moving back to base during your recall

That would be the same as the "On My Way" ping for when someone is using summoner 12 .

All this post asked for, was a small simple message to be displayed, akin to in chat when someone initiates a recall, to help with team communication.
