7/8 PBE Update

im not really seeing these changes as something positive, especially the changes to his passive. because of this, his build paths are going to be completely different- not to mention his skill leveling path. also the knock remove on his e is another thing... not sure what these changes are supposed to do besides bring down his amazingly high 45% winrate.

Literally the only change Azir needed was remove his ability to kill wards from 1k range.

"Azir is meant to be a DPS mage, so we're making it so that Azir gets less sustained damage from building CDR. Also, we're removing any incentive for building any tankiness by removing one of Azir's hard CC effects and his health-based shield." -Rito

Expect all of the Azirs you run into to build glass cannon, and don't be surprised when they help make sure that Azir keeps his ~45% winrate.
