Lets talk about Kalista and Thresh synergy.

Before we start i would like to ask the question, if thresh throws his lantern before getting kalista ulted does the lantern persist? If so kalista thresh will be literally inescapable. Thresh lanterns for the jungler, kalista ults them both into the enemy adc, thresh ult flay, jungler uses whatever cc they have kalista is beating on them, they flash thresh hooks them back in. Also lets not forget that good thresh's generally try to harrass with their wind up auto's, kalista w proc on top of that is just ridiculous.

I think her ult teleports them to her, not to where she pleases. So she can't just throw them on the adc (although depending on how far the dash goes, maybe...). Thresh's Lantern also has finite range, once thresh leaves range you can't Lantern to him (it isn't grossly large either, quite reasonable).

I'm more afraid of alistar. With the dash+knock up he can dash + aoe knock up enemy team + adc re aoe knock up the team with his q, while he repositions to headbutt (w) the adc towards his team all the while having a 70% damage reducing ultimate to keep him healthy and able to walk out after he single handedly keeps the whole team cc'd for 4 seconds and dislocates the carry.

Oh, and a heal just in case. And the trample passive.

Yea. Why wasn't he on the list of synergies?

From what i've seen the dash range is around the same as a malphite ult and thresh lanterns max range is literally half a lane (Also if the jungler clicks the lantern as thresh is moving they are pulled along with him). While alistar is scary he has no way to proc her w without going all in (They removed the free auto from headbutt) Making him less than optimal for bullying lane imo. Thresh windup damage harrass with ad runes is scary enough as it is without 12% max health added to it.

kalista grabs the allie she bonded with untargetable therefore thresh lantern does not work.

lets say thresh throws out a lantern. the enemy has to click iit before kalista uses ult. and the allie who grabs the lantern will only go to the last known location thresh was before he got ultied by kalista.

Is that confirmed? Because thresh lantern still works if he uses zhonyas (The closest thing to kalista's ult)

It's fine, Soraka can give a bit of her own health to the adc so it's balanced.
