Wukong jungle? Can't clear.

So I've wanted to add Wukong to my list of viable junglers, but his clears are proving to be harder than nidalee clears, and I feel super vulnerable early game. It's making me think he's not meant to be a jungler, but I wanted to look to the boards before I give up. My main issue right now is clears.

Here's my runes:

Here's my masteries:

When I go to clear I grab 3 health potions and hunters talisman, then start E, W, Q. I feel the clears are more difficult with hunter's machete, offering damage, but not as much sustain, and draining my mana to nearly zero before I can get out of my red jungle. I'll try clearing from blue side first I guess, which would probably allow me to use hunter's machete for the juicy extra 20 damage every auto.

Start Talisman and refillable potion, you'll upgrade the potion into hunter's potion later for sustain while clearing.

When you make your first clear start Krugs, you need the stun for the other camps. After Krugs, go to Raptors because your smite will still be on CD and you'll need it for Red. Attack the little ones to gain the stacks for your krug buff and, when it reaches 5, attack the big one to stun it. When all the little ones are dead kill the big one. After Raptors go to the river and take the Scuttler, use your abilities on it because your Krug buff will run out too early if you don't. You do this to gain back the health you'll need to kill Red. Then head on over to Red and attack it. Smite it when you want for the health.

For skills go E, Q, W always. Your Q resets your basic attack, giving you a free attack after you've already attacked. Decoy will come in handy for tanking maybe two hits from a monster and it has a long CD compared to your other abilities.

If you follow these steps, you'll be able to take Scuttler on the opposite river to gain back some health, with it and Red buff, you should be able to take out Gromp and Wolves before going back. After your first b, take your first blue and the rest of your clears will be easy.

You legit have everything against jungle clear... [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Get attack speed quints and ad reds Get the attack speed mastery Get that mastery on the right in the middle column

And nidalee clears fast

I sent you an add on the client. Ill help you out as much as possible and even give you a leash in a custom match if you want, i own all tier 3 runes, 20 rune pages, all champs, if im not playing ranked, im sitting there looking at runes. Id love to talk builds with you:)

So i sent you an add.

Heres what i did, and i did the clear without a leash.

Marks - 9x Armor pen Seals - 9x Flat Armor Glyphs- 9x MR per lvl Quinns- 2x Attackspeed 1x Flat armor.

Masteries: 0-12-18 I went with (in cunning) Wanderer x5. Runic Affinity. Merciless x5. Dangerous Game x1. Then in Resolve, Unyielding x5. Explorer. Runic Armor x5. Insight. Swiftness x5. Grasp of the Undying.

Now you can switch Swiftness in Resolve for Legendary Guardian (more armor n mr for each nearby champ), which is really good on wukong because thats exactly what his passive does, so itll stack giving you alot of free armor when you ult into a team/get bukkaked.

In my mind, Wukong needs to do damage, and be able to get out, to get back in, in 8 seconds to do it again. He needs to be mobile. Think a tankier version of Lee Sin.

For builds, theres two you can do, one more for damage, one more for tank.

Tank. item 1401 item 3102 item 3025 item 3071 item 3143 then whatever boots, pref item 3111 or item 3047 . Cinder giving you the burn, will help your clears, stupidly, and with the hp% bonus, youll get plenty of hp, prob 3500 if i did the math right or so, after you get banshees, bc, and rands. With IBG you can spam your Q, and keep a slow on them, while using the Rands active for another slow, and of course, with BC, you will be able to keep the phage passive to stick on whoever it is your on, and of course again, the armor shred on BC will tick everytime you hit someone with your ult.

Damage. item 1412 item 3053 item 3071 item 3156 item 3078 item 3111 /item 3047 . Still somewhat tanky, as thats what wuk needs to be, he cant be full AD, you can always sub out steraks for Hydra if you want the wave clear/lifesteal, But with this build, you will have PLENTY of AD, movespeed, some hp, some mr, nearly no armor unless you do the runes+masteries i said so you can get the buff from your passive and legendary guardian. Since the Phage spot is wasted due to having BC and Tri, you can sub out Tri for IBG if you want the slow + armor.

You have pretty much avoided every single mastery that helps with clearing: https://s22.postimg.org/3qz9ub1sh/Masteries.png Also the runes I run for difficult clears: Marks: Armor Seals: HP5 Quints: 1 Armor, 2 AS/AP/HP/MP Glyphs: CDR/AP/MP

Not saying that you should take all of that, but if you have problems, change some of it until you have no problems.

rune page is good. if you wanna be able to clear go with 0-18-12 personally i go 0-12-18 because he already has tons of dmg and i'm going for the lvl 11 powerspike with him always. you dont need hunters potion just use your Decoy after you E the camp. in the jungle max E also i advice doing a 3 camp clear going back getting another jungle item piece ( talisman or machete ) and then farm till 6 . also you should prioritise jungle item never skip it on Wukong. early game simply focus on getting to your jungle item and if you got time to ward/counter gank since wukong is underwhelming without red buff early game.

tbh I can't do a decent clear as wukong with any of my jungle rune/mastery pages.

Items: Talisman + Refillable Potion Skill Order: EWQEER, R>E>Q>W

Jungle Path: Krugs (Smite) -> Raptors -> Red Buff (Smite) -> Base

Purchase either Hunter's Potion or Hunter's Machete, then resume clearing from the other side of the jungle. You should have able to clear fairly well now.

wukong is literally one of the fastest cleareers and one of the better junglers atm.
